They value open communication, teamwork, initiative, and someone who naturally steps in wherever they’re needed. Whether you’re helping a curious toddler settle in after preschool, soothing a newborn, or quietly taking care of the little things that make a household run smoothly, your role will be deeply appreciated.
If you love building long-term relationships, supporting families through exciting transitions, and creating calm in the middle of busy days, we’d love to introduce you to this wonderful opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the family’s needs evolve, so will this role. Initially, you’ll support Mom during the final months of pregnancy while caring for the toddler before and after his part-time preschool schedule, preparing lunch, supporting his afternoon nap routine, and engaging him in fun, developmentally appropriate activities. Once the baby arrives, you’ll partner alongside Mom by primarily caring for either the newborn or the toddler on any given day, allowing each child to receive focused, individualized attention while Mom cares for the other. As the family’s needs continue to evolve, the role will naturally grow alongside them.
Childcare
- Partner alongside Mom to provide attentive, nurturing care for the newborn and toddler as the family’s needs evolve
- Provide exceptional newborn care, including bottle feeding, diapering, soothing, naps, and establishing healthy routines
- Support the toddler before and after his part-time preschool schedule through engaging play, developmental activities, lunch, and nap routines
- Help the older child with breakfast, preparing simple lunches and snacks, and after-school care
- Encourage developmental milestones through reading, play, sensory activities, and age-appropriate experiences
- Enjoy neighborhood walks, outdoor play, and visits to the nearby park
- Foster a calm, loving environment where the children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn
Household Support
- Children’s laundry, including putting clothing away and rotating seasonal clothing and hand-me-downs
- Wash bottles and sanitize baby equipment and toys
- Keep the nursery and children’s spaces tidy, organized, and well stocked
- Prepare simple snacks and light child-related meal prep (Mom enjoys cooking family meals)
- Run occasional grocery or household errands
- Take initiative with child-related household tasks that help the family stay organized while a housekeeper handles deep cleaning
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced career nanny with exceptional newborn, infant, and toddler experience
- Experience caring for premature infants is a plus
- Comfortable managing a child’s tree nut allergy and following food safety precautions
- Proactive, organized, dependable, and observant
- Confident partnering with a stay-at-home parent while working independently
- Flexible and comfortable adapting as the family’s daily needs shift between the newborn and toddler
- Active, engaging, and comfortable caring for young children
- Looking for a true long-term position where they can grow alongside the family
What Makes This Role Stand Out
- Wonderful first-time nanny family excited to build a lasting relationship
- Opportunity to grow alongside a family welcoming their third child
- Respectful parents who value professional childcare experience
- Consistent full-time schedule with guaranteed hours
- Opportunity to work closely alongside a present, involved mom as a true parenting partner
- Balance of engaging childcare and meaningful household support
- Long-term opportunity with a family who truly wants their nanny to become part of their lives
If you’re an experienced, nurturing career nanny who loves building lasting relationships with families and supporting children through their early years, we’d love to hear from you.
