The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a warm, organized returning family as they search for their next nanny. Their current nanny has been with them since their daughter was an infant and is now leaving to pursue nursing school. They are hoping to find another exceptional nanny who will build that same lasting relationship and grow alongside their family for years to come.
About the Family
Child
- Sweet, active, curious, and affectionate 16-month-old daughter
- Loves books, outdoor play, gymnastics, swim lessons, library outings, and exploring new places
- Thrives with structure, consistency, and engaging developmental activities
- Family hopes to grow in the future, making newborn experience highly preferred
Parents
- Mom is primarily a stay-at-home mom while also running her own business
- She works in and out of the home throughout the day but intentionally gives the nanny space and autonomy
- Dad owns his own business and works outside the home
- Parents value communication, professionalism, reliability, and building a long-term relationship with their nanny
Household
- Warm, organized, and welcoming home
- Dedicated nursery, playroom, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for play, including a home pool
- Family follows an organic, low-tox lifestyle. This is a scent-free, no-perfume home, and the family appreciates a nanny who respects their preferences regarding food, products, and routines
- One sweet senior small dog who may occasionally need to be let in or out
Position Details
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (40 Guaranteed Hours)
- Open to a four-day (Monday-Thursday), 32-hour schedule for the right candidate.
- Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends preferred (approximately once per month)
Travel
- Family typically travels 1-2 times per year and would love for their nanny to travel with them when possible
- Travel is planned in advance and is primarily domestic
- $100 overnight travel fee provided
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate
- $32-$35/hour DOE

What You’ll Be Doing
Childcare
- Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, and developmental play
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings that encourage learning, exploration, and independence
- Drive and accompany their daughter to gymnastics, swim lessons, library programs, parks, and other outings (car seat provided)
- Encourage developmental milestones through play, reading, and exploration
- Support water comfort and safety during swim lessons and home pool time
- Partner with parents by sharing developmental observations and activity ideas
- Transition into newborn care if and when the family grows
Household Support
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for their daughter
- Complete the child’s laundry and clean up after meals and activities
- Keep the nursery, playroom, and child’s belongings clean, organized, and well stocked
- Run occasional family errands, including grocery shopping, household supply runs, returns, and other miscellaneous errands
- Help maintain tidy shared living spaces used throughout the day
- Provide occasional light care for the family’s senior dog, such as letting him in and out and topping off water when needed
- Take initiative with light household tasks that naturally support the family’s daily routine
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced career nanny with strong toddler experience
- Infant and newborn experience strongly preferred
- Warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys the toddler stage
- Naturally proactive and able to work independently
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Strong communicator who enjoys partnering with parents
- Comfortable working confidently while a parent is occasionally home
- Safe, reliable driver with a dependable vehicle (SUV preferred)
- Comfortable and confident around water
- Scent-free and mindful of the family’s organic, low-tox preferences
- Looking for a true long-term position where they can grow alongside the family
