Childcare

Childcare will always be the top priority. Household support is appreciated during naps and downtime, but only when childcare needs allow.

  • Provide loving, attentive care while maintaining consistent feeding, nap, and daily routines
  • Prioritize the baby’s safety at all times, including following safe sleep practices, maintaining a safe environment during play and outings, and using sound judgment as the baby becomes more mobile.
  • Provide engaged, screen-free care with age-appropriate play, reading, music, sensory activities, outdoor walks, and developmental interaction throughout the day
  • Encourage developmental milestones through responsive interaction, exploration, and play
  • Support the baby’s feeding journey as she grows, including bottle feeding and, when developmentally appropriate, helping introduce solids in alignment with the parents’ preferences and pediatrician guidance.
  • Prepare bottles and, as the baby grows, healthy meals and snacks
  • Wash and sanitize bottles, pump parts, and feeding supplies
  • Keep parents updated on feedings, naps, milestones, and daily activities while openly sharing observations and ideas

Family Assistant

  • Children’s laundry and towels
  • Make the children’s beds and keep the nursery, bedrooms, and play areas clean, organized, and well stocked
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, tidy the kitchen after meals, and reset common living spaces used throughout the day
  • Rotate and organize children’s clothing, toys, books, and baby supplies
  • Restock diapers, wipes, and other children’s essentials as needed
  • Help prepare simple meals and snacks for the children as they grow
  • Run occasional family errands, including grocery pickup, returns, and household supply runs
  • Help maintain simple family systems so the home feels organized, stocked, and ready for the next part of the day
  • Help with light household tasks that naturally support the family’s daily routine
  • Occasionally let the family’s friendly Goldendoodle in or out if needed

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced career nanny with strong infant experience
  • Warm, dependable, organized, and naturally proactive
  • Excellent communicator who enjoys partnering with parents and adapting as children grow
  • Confident working independently while naturally looking for ways to help
  • Looking for a long-term position with a family that values professionalism, trust, and teamwork

What Makes This Role Stand Out

  • Wonderful returning The Nanny Joynt family with a history of successful placements
  • Long-term opportunity with a family that truly values and appreciates their nanny
  • Opportunity to focus primarily on one sweet infant throughout the day
  • Beautiful, organized home with realistic expectations and a supportive work environment
  • Balance of engaging infant care and light family assistant responsibilities
  • Parents who value teamwork, open communication, and building a lasting partnership with their nanny

If you love the infant stage, enjoy creating engaging, screen-free days, and are the type of nanny who naturally stays one step ahead, we’d love to hear from you. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with kind, appreciative parents who understand the value of professional childcare and are excited to welcome someone they can trust as an important part of their family’s everyday life.
