The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a wonderful returning Scottsdale family seeking a reliable, nurturing, and safety-minded morning nanny to support their bright and active 5-year-old as he begins Kindergarten this fall.

Their current nanny has been with the family long-term and speaks incredibly highly of her experience with them. She is only moving on because she needs a full-time position, creating a rare opportunity to step into an established, respectful, and supportive household.

About the Family

Child:

• 5-year-old boy beginning Kindergarten in August
• Active, curious, engaging, and excited for this next stage
• Thrives with consistency, routine, and positive encouragement

Household:

• Warm, appreciative family who values long-term relationships
• One indoor cat (no pet care responsibilities)
• Organized household with clear expectations and excellent communication

Position Details

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM
• 12.5 Guaranteed Hours Per Week

Start Date:

• Mid August 2026

Term:

• 12 months to start with potential for long-term continuation

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate:

• $35-40/hour DOE

Morning Childcare Support

• Helping create a positive and calm start to the school day
• Assisting with morning routines
• Preparing breakfast and packing lunch as needed
• Encouraging independence while providing age-appropriate support
• Ensuring the child is ready and prepared for school

Transportation

• Safe and reliable transportation to school
• Maintaining excellent driving habits and child safety standards
• Arriving consistently and on time each morning

Additional Support

While not required opportunity for additional hours during:

• School breaks
• Sick-day coverage
• Early-release days
