The Nanny Joynt is partnering again with a warm, established Scottsdale family we have supported since their oldest was a newborn. They are seeking an experienced, specialized nanny to become a steady, long-term presence for their three girls.

This is not a first-time nanny role. It is the right fit for a seasoned professional who has real experience supporting active, occasionally “big feeling”, children and knows how to bring calm, structure, and confidence to a busy household. About the Family

• Girl (9) – bright, highly gifted, and a reader at heart
• Girl (8) – spirited, active, and physically gifted
• Girl (5) – playful, sweet, and loves following the lead of her older sisters

• Family Dynamic: This is a hands-on, collaborative household with two working parents in demanding careers. They divide and conquer on activities and logistics, and they are looking for a nanny who is a confident, capable teammate.The parents actively share strategies and guidance with their nanny so everyone supports the girls the same way.

Position Details

Schedule: Guaranteed 30 hours per week (with additional hours frequently available)

• • Monday/Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday: 1:00pm–7:00pm 
  • Friday: 12:00pm-5:30pm 

• While the schedule is more consistent during the school year, some flexibility is typically needed based on the needs of the family.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hour DOE
• Guaranteed hours
• W2 position
• Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time

Responsibilities

Childcare Duties

• School pickup support and after-school routines – vehicle provided
• Homework oversight and gentle accountability (especially as needed for focus and follow-through)
• Supporting emotional regulation and “big feelings” moments with calm confidence
• Helping manage transitions: school-to-home, activities, sibling dynamics
• Engagement that fits each child: reading, creative play, outdoor time, simple games, connection-building
• Transportation support needed for activities/appointments (parents often share this)

Child-Related Household Support

• Kids’ laundry and organization
• Creating healthy snacks/lunch/dinner each day
• Tidying children’s spaces and keeping daily routines running smoothly
• Lunch support: prepping, packing, setting up easy systems
• Preparing dance bags, sports bags, etc.
• Errands/returns related to children
• Grocery ordering and pick up support
• Tidying common areas of the home each day
• Organizational projects

• • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with active children and family
  • Confident, skilled de-escalation and a safety-first mindset
  • A steady, firm, and kind presence who sets and holds clear, consistent boundaries
  • Organized and proactive with after-school flow and kid logistics
  • Comfortable partnering closely with involved, collaborative parents and integrating behavioral strategies

  • Available for a long-term commitment and genuinely excited to grow alongside this family

Important Notes:

• The girls thrive on routine, structure, and consistency. Transitions, including the shift from school to summer, can be harder for them at times, and the right nanny knows how to hold steady, predictable rhythms.
