The Nanny Joynt is partnering with a warm, private Arcadia family in search of a Morning Nanny and Household Manager to become a trusted right hand. They are looking for someone with a genuine spark for childcare who also enjoys the household side, a true partner who can flex between caring for their children and keeping the home stocked, organized, and running well. Discretion is very important to this family, and they would love to find someone who is comfortable becoming a trusted part of their daily life.

About the Family

Children

• Boy (5): a thoughtful, kind leader and the classic first child, bright and considerate. In school roughly 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
• Boy (3): brave, bold, and full of energy. In school roughly 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
• Boy (9 months): an easy, happy little one. He is becoming more mobile, loves his solids, and will be settling into a set nap and feeding schedule soon.
• Together, the boys are close and love each other. They are classic boys who are into sports, Legos, Minecraft, wrestling, and imaginative, active play. They are not iPad kids, they would much rather be outside or building something!

Parents

• Mom is home full-time and fully focused on the boys. She will be your main teammate day to day, and this role tag-teams closely with her.
• Dad runs his own company and keeps a busy schedule, often out early and home in the evening, with some late nights and travel as his work grows.
• Privacy and discretion are very important to this family.

Position Details

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm
40 hours per week guaranteed

This family is open to either a full-time schedule of about 40 hours per week or a slightly shorter schedule of about 35 hours, so please share your preference. The morning begins hands-on with the boys and the school routine, then shifts between baby care and household support depending on the day.

Travel

This family travels occasionally and would love a nanny who is open to joining some trips. On trips when their other nanny travels, this person can also stay back to keep the household running smoothly. All travel expenses are covered, and an overnight/travel stipend is provided for each overnight while traveling with the family.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is roughly an even split between childcare and running the household, and it shifts by the hour and by the day. Some mornings lean heavily toward the baby, others toward the home.

Childcare

• The first stretch, about 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, is hands-on childcare: helping get all three boys up, dressed, and fed, packing lunchboxes, and getting everyone out the door for school.
• After the school run, on many days you will have the baby, supporting his naps, solids, and emerging routine while Mom is at appointments or handling her day.
• On other days Mom has the baby and you focus on the household side. The right person flexes comfortably between the two.
• Sharing warm, clear updates on the baby’s naps, feedings, and milestones.

Household Support

The home has a housekeeper five days a week, so this is not a cleaning role. The household side is about organization, stocking, and keeping things running.

• A weekly grocery run and light weekly meal prep, portioning meals into containers for the week
• Keeping the boys’ toys and closets organized, and resetting their rooms
• Tackling organization projects as they come up, such as the pantry
• Keeping a running inventory of the kids’ day-to-day needs, like toothpaste and toothbrushes, and restocking
• Running household errands and returns, with a family vehicle provided
• Down the road, there is room to grow into light household coordination, such as keeping a calendar of who is coming and going and helping schedule a repair when something needs attention. This is a growth opportunity for the right person, not a day-one expectation.

Driving

• Driving is for errands and groceries and a family vehicle is provided. Mom handles school drop-off and pickup, barring a rare emergency.

• Comfortable and routine-based, someone who enjoys a consistent daily rhythm

• Patient, engaged, and fully present, not on their phone
• Comfortable signing an NDA and maintaining strong discretion and privacy
