Are you the kind of person who quietly walks into a home and immediately makes life feel lighter?

Do you notice the dishes before anyone asks? You reset a kitchen because you know it helps a tired parent breathe easier. You understand that postpartum support is not about “helping here and there” — it’s about protecting a mother’s healing, creating peace in the home, and allowing a family to fully settle into life with a newborn.

You’re calm under pressure, deeply organized, nurturing without being intrusive, and naturally thoughtful about the details that matter most during recovery.

Maybe you’ve supported postpartum families before. Maybe you understand traditional recovery practices and the importance of warmth, nourishment, rest, and structure during those first 40 days after birth. Maybe you’re the type of caregiver who genuinely enjoys creating a peaceful home environment behind the scenes so a mother can fully focus on bonding with her baby.

If that sounds like you, this may be a truly special fit.

The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a warm, thoughtful family seeking a highly organized, proactive, and nurturing postpartum household support professional to help care for their home during the first few weeks after welcoming their newborn.

This is not a traditional nanny position. Mom will primarily be caring for and attached to the baby, while dad remains actively involved with their older daughter and family dog. The heart of this role is household support, postpartum nourishment, organization, and helping create a calm, restorative environment during a deeply important season of life.
