Do you walk into a home and see the systems that aren’t there yet, the ones the client doesn’t even know they need?

This is a rare opportunity to step into a foundational role with a private Paradise Valley home and build the operation behind it from the ground up.

The Nanny Joynt is partnering with a dynamic professional couple seeking a high-level household manager to bring structure, vendor coordination, and long-term rhythm to a newly settled two-acre estate. The first year is foundation-setting. From there, the role grows with the household.

About the Household

  • Adult-only home, two-acre Paradise Valley estate, approximately 10,000 square feet
  • Currently in the middle of a full home design refresh
  • Existing team to manage and coordinate: biweekly housekeeper, weekly landscape crew, pest control, IT, design team, and a construction project manager
  • One senior German Shepherd in residence, protective and requires an intentional warm-up period with new people. The dog’s care is covered, so pet care is not part of this role
  • Multi-property household with a secondary Arizona residence and potentially additional properties to come
  • High confidentiality standards, NDA required

Schedule and Compensation

  • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, business hours 
  • Some flexibility for occasional weekend support around family travel as the role grows
  • $150,000 to $200,000 annual salary DOE
  • W-2 employment 
  • Benefits: PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays 

Responsibilities

A full-scope role with real runway. The first year is foundation-setting: building household systems, coordinating an existing vendor team, and establishing the daily rhythm of the home. From there, the role will likely grow into staff leadership, travel coordination, and private event coordination.

You’ll be the operational right-hand and a true extension of the principals. You will be the point of accountability for everyone who enters the home, and the person who anticipates what’s next before anyone has to ask.

A detailed scope of work is shared with candidates moving forward in the process. This is a high-autonomy role. You’ll be trusted to see what needs to be done and handle it.

  • Seasoned in private service, household management, or high-level executive support in a private setting. 
  • A true self-starter who reads situations, anticipates needs, and moves before being asked
  • Confidently representing the Principal with vendors, professionals, and guests, without hand-holding
  • Hands-on and active. As comfortable rolling up your sleeves as you are managing a team
  • Locally established in the Valley, with real relationships and resources that come from being here a while. 
  • Discreet to your core. Confidentiality isn’t a rule you follow, it’s how you operate
  • High-energy, possibility-minded, grounded. No drama, no victim mentality, no waiting to be told
  • Human-first in all of your communication. Your thinking, your words, your voice. Never AI
  • Comfortable working around a senior, protective dog.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar Household Manager, Estate Manager, or senior Personal Assistant role within a private home
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, training, and managing household staff
  • Vendor sourcing and contractor management track record
  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to thrive in a high-activity environment
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and emotionally intelligent
  • Strong gatekeeping instincts, with the ability to hold priorities and boundaries with confidence
  • Tech-savvy and systems-oriented
  • Flexible, responsive, and service-minded
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable personal vehicle for work-related errands and tasks
  • U.S. work authorization
  • Local Phoenix-area candidate must live within a 20-minute commute of Paradise Valley
