The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a professional, fast-paced household seeking a highly capable Household Manager + Nanny Hybrid to bring structure, reliability, and ease into their day-to-day life. This is a true partnership role—not a micromanaged position—ideal for someone who takes ownership and enjoys making a meaningful impact.

About the Family:

Children:

  • Two school-aged children (11-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl)
  • Easygoing, active, social children involved in extracurricular activities
  • Activities currently include swim lessons, dance, basketball, lake days, and summer outings
  • One child has dyslexia and benefits from additional structure, accountability, homework oversight, and academic support
  • Children do well with calm, steady guidance and consistency

Family Dynamic:

  • Shared custody schedule: one week on / one week off during the school year
  • Summer schedule shifts to two weeks on / two weeks off
  • Co-parenting relationship is respectful and communicative
  • Parent values structure, reliability, flexibility, discretion, and having a dependable right-hand person
  • Looking for someone long-term who can become a trusted support system for both the household and children

Position Details:

Schedule:

  • 35–40 hours per week guaranteed
  • Generally Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm, with occasional later evenings until around 7pm based on activities, travel, and the family’s schedule
  • Dynamic structure based on custody schedule:
    • Week On (Children Home): More childcare-focused with afternoon/evening support
    • Week Off (No Children): More household management-focused with additional flexibility in scheduling
  • Flexibility is key, but consistency in hours will be maintained

Travel Required:

  • Travel support is part of this role, including occasional overnight trips and seasonal travel assistance, ranging from a few days to about a week at a time

Overnights: Flexibility is appreciated, very occasional

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $35+ DOE
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35–40 each week
  • W2 Position
  • Healthcare benefits fully covered for employee

  • Dedicated household/nanny vehicle provided (Tesla Model Y)

Responsibilities:

Childcare (During Custody Weeks):

  • School and activity transportation
  • After-school support and supervision, including homework oversight
  • Being a steady, positive presence in the children’s routine
  • Supporting structure, accountability, and engagement
  • Planning activities and outings during the week
  • Maintaining their school and social calendars

Household Management (Primary Focus Overall):

  • Full household organization and upkeep
  • Laundry, inventory tracking, and home stocking
  • Backpack maintenance/care/cleaning
  • Grocery shopping, errands, and returns
  • Planning and preparing family meals, snacks, and lunches with confidence
  • Vendor coordination (maintenance, cleaners, service providers)
  • Scheduling home and vehicle maintenance
  • Managing household systems and anticipating needs
  • Event prep and general home oversight
  • Travel preparation (packing, stocking homes, logistics coordination)
  • Vehicle management (maintenance, cleaning, readiness)
  • Pet-related support including appointments and care coordination for family dog

This is a high-autonomy role—you’ll be trusted to see what needs to be done and handle it without direction.
