The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a thoughtful, respectful family seeking a professional, reliable, and developmentally-minded full-time nanny to care for their infant daughter and become a trusted part of their daily rhythm.
About the Family:
Child:
- One baby girl, 11 months old at the start of care
- In a key stage of development: exploring, learning, and transitioning through milestones like solids, mobility, and structured routines
Parents:
- Loving, communicative, and respectful
- Value professionalism, open communication, and long-term partnership
- Combination of in-office and work-from-home schedule
Pets:
- One small, friendly dog (pet-friendly nanny required)
Home Environment:
- Calm, organized, and family-focused
- A home where routines, communication, and mutual respect are prioritized
Position Details:
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday – Monday and Friday will be 8:00/8:30am until -4:00/4:30pm
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be 8:15am until 4:45pm
- 40 hours/guaranteed each week
- Consistent weekday schedule with slight variations based on parents’ workdays
Travel Required: Not required
Overnights: Not required at this time
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hour DOE
- Guaranteed Hours – 40 per week
- W2 Position
- Paid Vacation, Sick Days, Holidays
Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:
- Full, attentive care of the baby throughout the day
- Maintain consistent nap and feeding schedules
- Bottle feeding, diapering, and tracking daily routines
- Engage in age-appropriate play, reading, and developmental activities
- Support milestones with intention (mobility, feeding transitions, early learning)
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks as the child grows
- Ensure safety at all times, both at home and on outings
Household Support (Child-Focused + Family Support):
- Child’s laundry and organization – help with family laundry as needed
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized child environment
- Dishes and resetting of the kitchen and living areas daily
- Coordinating occasional household access (cleaners, dog groomer)
- Light meal prep for the family
Transportation:
- Confident, safe driving required
- Transport the child to activities, classes, or outings
- Manage all logistics for outings (diaper bag, stroller, safety, etc.)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced with babies and has recent, verifiable references
- Calm, confident, and highly reliable
- Strong understanding of child development and infant milestones
- Excellent judgment and safety awareness
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs without direction
- Clear, respectful communicator who values collaboration
- Organized and naturally keeps spaces running smoothly
- Comfortable in a home with a dog
- Physically capable of all childcare tasks (lifting, carrying, active play, outings)
