Part-Time Position Available with a Returning Nanny Joynt Family

Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is so happy to be working again with this wonderful return family. This family hired an amazing Nanny Joynt Nanny almost 5 years ago!  They are so sad to part with their nanny, but she is moving to Prescott to retire. They are thrilled to be starting a new search and want to find another amazing nanny to work with as soon as possible.  Their oldest daughter will be 5 years old at the end of May. She is sweet, plays independently, loves puzzles, and painting, and is very creative. She does go to school each day until 3pm each day. Their younger daughter just turned 2.5 years old. She is a very outgoing, social butterfly, who has her own opinions and is just so sweet. She may start full-day preschool in August. She loves going to the library and Little Gym each week. Their new nanny will be using the family car to drive the girls to activities. This family is seeking an experienced nanny who is caring, kind, hands-on, active, and creative with their daughters each day. They want a nanny who is organized, engaging, and really enjoys their job as a career nanny.  Their new nanny should enjoy teaching new things and enjoy interacting with the girls while helping them meet all developmental milestones. Both parents are very busy and work from their home offices. Their new nanny should be comfortable working with work-at-home parents. These parents are just amazing and so kind and easy to work with! They have wonderful personalities and will be sure you have a great work environment. You should be active in creating age-appropriate and fun activities for the girls daily, reading, singing, and getting them out on walks each day. They live within walking distance of wonderful parks! Ideally, you will be very experienced with children in this age group. They are very excited to welcome a nanny into their home! 

This position is offering $30 per hour with guaranteed hours, PTO, paid holidays, and paid vacation after 6 months. 

 The schedule for this position will be 28 hours guaranteed:

• 12:00pm until 5:00pm Monday through Thursday 
• 9:00am until 5:00pm on Fridays
• At the beginning of August, the schedule could change to Monday through Friday 3:00pm until 5:00pm
• The family will be offering a paid 20 hours guaranteed if the schedule does change in August. Their youngest may be going to preschool full-time in August, but this has not yet been determined. 
• There may be days that they need you to work more hours if you are available

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

• All comprehensive child care, making healthy meals, snacks, etc.
• Taking walks, being active, and creating fun activities
• Arts, learning activities, crafts, playing with the girls 
• Helping them meet and exceed all developmental milestones  
• Singing, music, reading, and being engaging each day 
• Planning educational activities, teaching new things
• Driving to and from activities – use of family car
• Organizational projects pertaining to the children

 

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and children
• Kitchen, cleaning floors, wiping countertops, keeping things neat and clean
• Load and unload the dishwasher
• Cleaning toys and children’s areas each day
• Keep things tidy, keep children’s rooms organized and neat 
• Child laundry, and linens, wash, fold, put away
• Helping around the house as needed

Requirements:

• No screen time when you are with the girls
• The family requires a nanny who will not be on their phone while working with the children

• Love of experiencing and teaching new things
• Honesty and open communication, hard-working, taking initiative
• Professional, loyal, loving, hands-on, nurturing, team player
• Enjoyment of children, passionate about your career as a nanny

Considerations:  

• Length of Commitment: 12 months to start
• Covid: NOT Required
• Flu Vaccine – Family does require their nanny to have the flu vaccine each year.
• Pets: One cat in the house, the nanny must be cat-friendly and be very careful to not leave doors open to the outside. 
• Travel and Overnights are not needed at this time

This family is active, fun, and easygoing, and respects their nanny so much. Their current Nanny Joynt nanny has been with them for nearly 5 years and they are sad to see her go. They would love to find someone who can fill her shoes. You will enjoy working with this kind family who has two amazing girls!
