Family Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a delightful infant girl, who was born in March 2024. She is just the sweetest baby and enjoys being held. The family is seeking a part-time nanny with a commitment of at least one year. Their new nanny should be someone who is caring and kind with a positive/happy disposition. You should enjoy engaging with and interacting with her daily, ensuring she is being nurtured and loved while you are with her each day. The ideal candidate will have recent infant care experience and be caring, proactive, and communicative, understanding the importance of creating a vibrant and nurturing environment for their daughter. A combination of professionalism and a warm, fun-loving personality is essential. Anticipating needs, being safety-minded, and having relevant experience with infants are also required qualifications.

Mom works at home full time and Dad may be working at home on occasion.  The family values open communication and wants to find a nanny who can communicate effectively while becoming an integral part of their family. A genuine love for spending time with their daughter and a warm, caring personality are top priorities.

This position is offering $30 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid holidays, and paid sick time.

The schedule for this position will be:

• 24 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00am until 5:00pm 
• Or they can offer 25 hours per week Monday through Friday 9:00am until 2:00pm
• They would love a nanny who can be available to work additional hours if needed. When you apply please let me know which schedule would work best for you or if you have another schedule that might work as well. We have additional part-time jobs that may align with this one as well. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:   

• All comprehensive child care, making meals, feeding
• Changing diapers, potty training when the time comes
• Helping to maintain a sleep schedule and routine 
• Engaging, playing, reading, planning activities, walks, being outside
• Helping her meet and exceed all developmental milestones
• Educational age-appropriate activities
• Washing bottles, dishes, toys, etc. 
• Children’s laundry, linens
• Organizational projects

 

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Kitchen, cleaning high chair, floor, counter
• Load and unload the dishwasher, baby dishes/bottles sanitizing
• Changing crib/cleaning out the diaper pail 
• Light meal preparation
• Organizational projects if needed

Requirements:

• Reliable, on time, active and energetic
• Experienced with babies, engaging, proactive, consistent

• Professional, loyal, loving, hands-on, nurturing, team player
• No cell phone or electronic use around the baby 

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: Vaccine not Required
• Length of Commitment: One year to start
• No overnights or travel will be needed for this family at this time
• Pets: The family does have a sweet Boxer who is indoor/outdoor so their nanny needs to be dog-friendly.
