The Nanny Joynt is excited to partner with a warm family relocating to Arizona this summer seeking an experienced nanny to support their four children and become an important part of their everyday rhythm.

This family has an incredible history of long-term nanny relationships, including one caregiver who stayed with them for five years and became a true extension of the family. They are hoping to build that same connection again here in Arizona!

About the Family

This active family has four wonderful children who love movement, outdoor time, adventure, and staying engaged.

Boy, Age 8 – Gifted, curious, science-loving, and full of energy. Loves engineering, bugs, learning, and hands-on activities.

Boy, Age 7 – Sweet, thoughtful, easygoing, and loves math.

Girl, Age 4 – Social, playful, energetic, and likely beginning preschool in the future.

Boy, Age 3 – Active, playful, and fully embracing the “three-nager” stage.

Think parks, zoo days, museums, libraries, community activities, and getting out into the world.

Mom recently transitioned from an impressive military career and is now enjoying this season as a stay-at-home parent while focusing on family life. She is experienced employing nannies and values partnership, autonomy, and creating a positive working relationship.

Dad recently accepted an exciting opportunity bringing the family to Arizona and is supportive, involved, and family-focused.

Home Environment

Warm, active, collaborative household.

Family is initially relocating into a rental near N Priest Dr & W Knox Rd in Chandler while searching for their long-term home within the 85284 area.

Community pool access this summer with plans for a future pool home. Candidates comfortable swimming are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

30 Guaranteed Hours Weekly – 4-Day Work Week

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Approximately 10am – 6pm

Fridays: Schedule alternates approximately every other week between:

Week A: 2pm – 8pm (date night coverage, the family is flexible 

Week B: 8am – 2pm (daytime support)

The family values collaboration and flexibility, with schedules planned in advance whenever possible.

Summer: (June 16 – July 22, 2026): Optional additional hours available up to approximately 40 hours/week while all children are home for summer break and the family transitions into their move to Arizona.

Travel: Not required
Overnights: Not required

Compensation & Benefits

$35/hour DOE – 30 Guaranteed Hours

Benefits: W2 Position, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Family Vehicle Provided

Responsibilities

Childcare

• Care for four children ranging from toddler through school age, with primary daytime care focused on the two younger children while the older children are in school
• Planning outings, activities, and adventures
• Parks, museums, libraries, zoo outings, indoor play spaces, and community activities
• Assisting with school pickup and after-school transitions
• Homework monitoring and reading routines
• Encouraging active play and independence
• Supporting routines and boundaries
• Transportation using family vehicle

Household Support

• Children’s laundry as time allows
• Kitchen resets after meals/snacks
• Loading/unloading dishwasher
• Resetting toys and child spaces
• Light meal and snack support
• Helping maintain household flow during busy transitions
