Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is seeking an experienced and very dedicated household manager for this amazing family! You should be very proactive, and intuitive and can help them manage their family, home, and calendar! You should also be able to maintain professional boundaries and value privacy as you will be required to sign an NDA to work with this family. This family has 2 active and busy children so their new household manager/nanny needs to be playful, kind, and experienced with children in these age groups!  Their son is 10.5 and does have an allergy to shellfish. He is such a sweet young man, who is inquisitive, smart, and cautious. He loves soccer, football, and building with Legos. Their daughter is almost 8 years old and she is so much fun, outgoing, funny, energetic, and smart.  She loves theater and art and is very creative! The ideal candidate for this position will have a service-oriented personality, be a self-starter, someone warm and proactive, you should be able to manage things easily and lend a hand wherever help is needed.  Reliability is very important, so someone who is always on time. Mom is a very busy professional who runs her own company so she is seeking someone who can be an extension of her. She cares about the people in their lives, and she wants their household manager/nanny to feel welcome and happy working with their family!  She would love to find an active, reliable household manager/nanny who has recent experience in this role. You should not need to be micromanaged or take a lot off time off regularly for personal appointments.  This family does have pets so their nanny must be comfortable with 2 small dogs, as pet care will be needed. This family is busy and active, but very fun and kind, you will love working with them and they are excited to meet with candidates very soon!

This position is offering $32-$35 per hour DOE with guaranteed hours, vacation time, paid sick days, paid holidays, health insurance, dental, vision, 401K and use of the family car while working.

The schedule for this position will be:

• Monday through Friday – Ideally 12:00pm until 6:00pm (Guaranteed paid 40 Hours and Paid Overtime for Anything Over 40 Hours) You should be flexible and able to manage working more hours as needed.
• Some flexibility will be needed to come in early or stay later some days. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for children 
• Having children help out with chores
• Pick up the children from school, taking to activities, taking to their father’s house
• Homework help, tutoring, school projects
• Planning and creating fun activities each day
• Children’s laundry/linens, folding, putting away, changing bed sheets
• Maintaining the children’s areas and ensuring all items are stocked and organized

Household-Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and children
• Load/unload the dishwasher
• Taking out the trash/recycling as needed
• Making sure all areas are organized/tidy as needed
• Ordering supplies, making sure things are stocked
• Having children help with daily household tasks
• Meal preparation, making healthy meals and fun snacks
• Errands, groceries, receiving packages
• Greeting contractors, scheduling maintenance if needed
• Housekeeper comes twice a week
• Breaking down boxes, monthly maintenance tasks
• General ability to see what needs to be done and complete those tasks

Considerations: 

• Pets – 2 small dogs. Some pet care will be needed. Walking and feeding the dogs. 
• Travel – Domestic and international – Travel will not always be required but there will be opportunities to travel to Europe, Mexico, Central and South America, and all over the US! Should have current passport in hand. 
• Length of commitment – One year to start, ideally very long term
• COVID-19: This family does NOT require the Covid Vaccine

Nannies, this is an amazing family that is so much fun!  They want a wonderful Household Manager to join their family so they can spend more quality time together! This busy single mom runs her own company. She needs a right-hand person to help her with all things related to the kids and home. They are a fun outgoing loud family looking to add another member to the group!
