The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a returning Nanny Joynt family who is very welcoming and seeking a reliable, proactive, and experienced nanny/family assistant to support their three children and help keep their home running smoothly.

This is a well-rounded, long-term role where you’ll be trusted to take initiative, support multiple age groups, and become a steady, dependable presence in the home. Their current nanny is expecting a baby of her own and has been with them long term.

About the Family

Children:

• Active little girl who will be 1 year old at start: active, curious, and constantly exploring
• Two school-aged children (a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl): Both are involved in school and occasional activities after school. There will be times you will need to do pickups and drop-offs, so it’s ideal if your car can fit two car seats and their older child in the back seat of your vehicle. 

Household:

• Organized and structured environment
• Parents value flexibility, communication, and a team-oriented mindset
• No pets in the home

This family is looking for someone who can step in confidently, adapt to changing schedules, and help create a calm, well-managed home environment.

Position Details

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Monday through Thursday with varying start times (between 7:45am–9:00am)
• Occasional later days (e.g., Wednesdays until 6:30pm)
• Flexibility is key—schedule may shift slightly depending on the day

Start Date:

• Early June 2026

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $28-$30 – Competitive, based on experience
• Guaranteed Hours – 40 hours each week
• W2 Position
• Paid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hybrid nanny + family assistant role where your ability to move between childcare and household support will make a meaningful difference in the family’s daily life.

Responsibilities

Childcare

• Primary care for their toddler during the day
• Support school-aged children before/after school as needed
• Engage in age-appropriate play, activities, and outings (library, baby gym, etc.)
• Maintain routines and provide consistent, attentive care

Household Support (Child-Focused)

• Children’s laundry (including cloth diaper washing)
• Preparing school lunches and cleaning lunchboxes
• Tidying children’s rooms and play areas
• Light organization and resetting spaces throughout the day
• Preparing home for weekly housekeeper (picking up floors, toys, etc.)

Logistics & Support

• Occasional school pick-ups or drop-offs
• Driving children as needed (must have reliable transportation)
• Supporting extracurricular routines when applicable
