About the Children:

Baby Girl (Born February 14, 2025):

• Sweet, happy, and very engaged with her surroundings
• Recognizing faces and working on motor development
• Loves singing, being talked to, and engaging, age-appropriate play
• Beginning baby-led weaning soon; mom prepares meals, and the nanny will help introduce new foods as needed 

Older Daughter (Almost 4 Years Old):

• In school full-time, but may be home occasionally
• Very active, social, and affectionate
• Loves dancing, reading, and playing with her baby sister
• Has a cashew and pistachio allergy, and the home is nut-free 

The Ideal Nanny:
This family is looking for a nurturing, dependable, and developmentally knowledgeable nanny who truly enjoys engaging with young children and will play an active role in their growth. Someone who is patient, very punctual, and responsible is a must. They appreciate open and honest communication and are looking for a nanny who is confident but also open to feedback and collaborative in nature.

You Should Be:

• Experienced with infants and preschoolers
• Familiar with and supportive of developmental milestones
• Comfortable with redirection 
• Willing to engage in hands-on, educational, and sensory-rich activities
• Flexible and reliable, with a calm, positive presence
• Comfortable working in a home with parents who work from home
• CPR certified
• Have a safe and reliable vehicle 

Schedule & Compensation:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM flexibility to stay later if needed on occasion
  Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: $25-$28 per hour DOE

• No travel or overnights required – No pets in the household 

Childcare Responsibilities Include:

• Engaging in age-appropriate play and developmental activities with the baby
• Supporting baby-led weaning and introducing new foods
• Planning and taking walks to the park, library, and other local outings
• Using The Nanny Joynt curriculum when age appropriate
• Occasional care for the older child when not in school
• Facilitating a fun, safe, and loving environment
• Using a log/app to track the baby’s daily feedings and activity 

Household Responsibilities Include (as time allows):

• Tidying of the children’s play areas and bedrooms
• Washing child’s dishes, bottles, pump parts, etc. 
• Cleaning floors and kitchen spaces after meals or play
• Loading/unloading of the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy
• Washing children’s laundry and putting away
• Supporting the overall cleanliness of the home in areas that the children use
