TNJFT2298 – Mother’s Helper/Family Assistant Needed for Growing Family in Avondale, AZ

Location: Avondale, AZ
Start Date: By the End of November 2026
Reference Code: TNJFT2298
Term: Long Term

West Valley nannies, this is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and enjoys keeping a busy household running smoothly!

The Nanny Joynt is partnering with a growing family in Avondale looking for an experienced Mother’s Helper/Family Assistant to help care for their three children, ages 4, 2, and 1, with another baby expected in late May 2027! This is a hybrid position combining hands-on childcare with family assistant responsibilities, perfect for someone who enjoys variety, stays organized, and takes initiative.

Mom is currently attending school and is home most days. The family is hoping to find someone who can work alongside them, keep the children engaged, and help tackle everyday household responsibilities. They would love someone calm, dependable, and comfortable in a busy home where priorities may shift throughout the day.

About the Family

The Children

Son, 4 Years Old (Turning 5 in January)

  • An energetic, curious little boy who enjoys hands-on learning, creative activities, and outdoor play. Mom leads his preschool activities at home and would appreciate help keeping the younger children engaged during this time.

Daughter, 2 Years Old (Turning 3 in December)

  • A spirited little girl who loves dancing, gymnastics, painting, and music! She enjoys staying active and playing alongside her brothers.

Son, 1 Year Old

  • A curious little guy who is crawling, exploring, and getting closer to walking! He loves following his older siblings and needs attentive supervision as he becomes more mobile.

Baby Number Four, Expected Late May 2027

  • Mom plans to handle most newborn care herself, with the nanny helping care for the older children and assisting with baby-related tasks as needed.

Mom and Dad handle contact naps, bath time, and diapering for the little ones. The nanny’s focus is engagement, play, and household support.

The Parents

Mom is home most days. Her online coursework will eventually transition into in-person clinical rotations. Dad’s work schedule varies, and he is in and out of the home. Grandparents visit regularly and provide additional support.

The family values open communication, professionalism, and someone who can take initiative while respecting their established routines. This is a collaborative role. A parent or family member will always be home, so the nanny will not be responsible for the children on their own.

  • No pets.
