About the Family

Children:

• Toddler (2.5 years old): active, playful, talkative, a little shy at first, thrives with structure and engagement, loves outdoor play and activities
• Infant (6 months old): easygoing, happy, beginning solids, developing quickly (sitting, exploring)

Household:

• Structured, routine-driven environment
• Parents are professional, engaged, and value consistency
• One parent works in-office full-time, the other hybrid

This is a home where routines matter, communication is valued, and the right nanny will feel supported and trusted.

Position Details

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday
• 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week

Start Date:

• ASAP (flexible for the right fit)

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $27–$32/hour DOE
• Guaranteed Hours
• W2 Position
• Paid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is centered around high-quality, attentive childcare with thoughtful support of the home.

Responsibilities

Childcare

• Full care for both children throughout the day – their 2 year old will be starting preschool in August
• Maintain structured routines for naps, meals, and activities
• Engage toddler in developmentally appropriate play, outings, and learning
• Support infant’s feeding schedule, naps, and developmental milestones
• Create a calm, consistent daily rhythm

Safety & Communication

• Follow strict food safety practices due to food allergies
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with parents
• Provide updates on routines, feeding, and development

Household Support (Child-Focused)

• Children’s laundry
• Loading and unloading dishwasher, wiping surfaces
• Meal prep for children
• Bottle cleaning and kitchen reset
• Seeing things that need to be done and helping to manage those tasks
• Tidying play areas and maintaining organized spaces

Logistics

• Preschool pickup starting in August (2 days/week)
• Use of personal vehicle (car seats provided)

• Experienced with both infants and toddlers simultaneously
• Strong understanding of child development and routines
• Highly detail-oriented, especially regarding food safety and allergies
• Warm, calm, and emotionally intelligent
