The Nanny Joynt is honored to partner with a driven and dedicated father seeking a rotational nanny/household manager to support his two school-aged daughters (ages 8 and 15) as the family navigates a season of transition. With a demanding role as the CEO of a large company and a divorce currently in progress, this client is seeking a calm, competent, and flexible professional to serve as a trusted partner in keeping the household running smoothly. The right candidate will bring both heart and structure, balancing emotional intelligence with a highly proactive mindset.

Requirements to apply for this role:

  • 3+ years of professional nanny and/or household management experience
  • Strong recent references from similar high-responsibility roles
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation
  • CPR and First Aid Certified 
  • Ability to commit to a rotational schedule with reliability and flexibility

About the Family:
Children:

  • 8-year-old daughter: Energetic, curious, and thrives with consistency. Needs a positive role model who can help guide routines, schoolwork, and activities.
  • 15-year-old daughter: Independent and involved in her own schedule; minimal care required, but strong communication and respect are essential.

Parents:

  • The family will be navigating a co-parenting arrangement. While the family is currently transitioning through divorce, both parents are committed to maintaining civility and prioritizing their children’s well-being. Their new nanny must be committed to working with both parents to make transitions more comfortable for everyone. 

Position Details:
Schedule: Rotational schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off

  • On-weeks will include full coverage, with flexibility needed (potential 7:00am start or later evening hours depending on work events and meetings). Flexibility is essential in this role.
  • Off-weeks may occasionally include light hours for organization, errands, or house management support for Dad.
  • This schedule will be customized based on mutual agreement and family needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Monthly Rate: $4,000–$5,000/month, depending on experience and agreed schedule
  • Guaranteed Monthly Income
  • W2 Position
  • Paid Sick Days, Paid Holidays, and Paid Vacation Time

Travel Required: Minimal, possible travel for family events or coverage as needed. Travel destinations could be Flagstaff and CA in the summer. Advance notice will be given.
Overnights: Yes, occasional overnights may be needed with advance notice

Responsibilities:

Childcare Duties:

  • Morning and evening routines (breakfast, school drop-off, pick-up, activities, bedtime prep)
  • Driving to and from school, sports, and activities
  • Supporting homework, school projects, and social-emotional development
  • Creating and maintaining consistent routines
  • Engaging in fun, meaningful activities appropriate to age

Household Management:

  • Grocery shopping, meal prep, packing lunches
  • Coordinating household vendors, deliveries, and maintenance needs
  • Managing family laundry and bedrooms, making beds, tidying bathrooms
  • Keeping the kitchen and all common areas organized and tidy
  • Household errands and organization tasks
  • Preparing for overnights or work-related travel coverage

  • Experienced in working with school-aged children 
  • Comfortable stepping into a leadership role when needed, while also showing warmth and flexibility
  • Excellent communicator and team player, especially in co-parenting situations
  • Highly proactive and organized with a natural attention to detail
  • Discreet, respectful, and mature in handling sensitive family dynamics
  • Comfortable with early mornings, flexible days, and occasional overnights
