The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with this warm, kind-hearted family in Phoenix who are seeking a dependable, nurturing, and proactive full-time nanny for their adorable baby girl! This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a communicative and loving home and is looking to become an integral part of a family for the long term. Both parents work—Mom has some flexibility and occasionally works from home—and they deeply value a nanny who brings a calm, warm energy and collaborative spirit to their household. Their baby girl is an easygoing, happy baby who has benefited from excellent early care and a solid routine created by her Newborn Care Specialist.
About the Family:
- One infant daughter (born July 2025)
 - Family includes a friendly cat, Penelope; no pet care is needed
 - Mom works from home most days; Dad works in the office
 - A close-knit extended family nearby who may stop in to say hello
 - Strong reference from their Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)
 
Position Details:
Schedule:
- December: Ideally, Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (24 guaranteed hours/week)
 - Starting January 2026: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (40 guaranteed hours/week)
 - Open to starting full-time sooner for the right candidate
 
Travel possible: Occasional, not currently planned.
Overnights: Possible in the future, not required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $28–$30/hour DOE
 - Guaranteed Hours 40 hours each week
 - W2 Position, Paid Vacation: 1 week after 90 days, 2 weeks after 1 year, Paid Sick Days Accrued, Paid Holidays: 6 major holidays
 
Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:
- Loving and attentive care for their baby
 - Support her existing schedule and routines
 - Diapering, feeding (bottle support and transition to solids), and soothing
 - Tracking naps, feeding, and developmental milestones
 - Age-appropriate enrichment and interactive play
 - Reading, singing, and sensory activities
 - Administering daily medication (Famotidine) until mid-January
 - Monitoring for reflux and supporting upright time post-feeding
 
Household Support:
- Baby laundry and linens
 - Keeping nursery and play areas clean and organized
 - Light tidying (dishwasher loading/unloading, wiping baby surfaces)
 - No pet care required
