Energetic and Proactive Family Nanny & Household Manager Needed for a Fun, Loving, and Busy Family
Location: E Indian School Rd and N 56th St (Arcadia)
Start Date: ASAP
Reference Code: TNJPT1745

The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a warm, respectful, and vibrant Arcadia family in search of an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Family Nanny & Household Manager! This long-term, part-time role offers the perfect mix of childcare and household management. This family has two school-aged children and is looking for someone really great at time management, who has strong organizational skills, and who is able to take initiative. They really want someone who will make things fun for the kids and create fun activities like designing a little Halloween craft or other fun and creative things with them. Their kids are pretty busy, so a lot of this position is logistical organization, grocery shopping, running the house, making sure the schedule for the week is aligned, and sending it out to the family each Friday. Administrative tasks and being tech-savvy are important. If you’re a confident, fun, and dependable caregiver who thrives in busy environments and enjoys supporting neurodivergent children, this could be the perfect job for you!

About the Family:
This is a kind, supportive, and engaged family who values kindness, structure, and education. They have successfully worked with nannies in the past and treat their caregivers with respect and appreciation. Both parents have demanding professional careers and are looking for someone who can confidently step into their home and manage the daily rhythms of life with two active children.

  • 10-year-old Son: A bright, high-energy child who is twice exceptional (gifted with ADHD). He thrives with structure, consistency, and caregivers who are patient, emotionally attuned, and can support executive functioning and emotional regulation strategies. He loves baseball and lizards and brings a ton of personality and intelligence to the day.
  • 9-year-old Daughter: A bubbly, kind-hearted, competitive dancer with a full extracurricular schedule. She needs support with daily homework and keeping track of assignments. She loves to be engaged through connection, creativity, and play.
  • Ziggy the Dog: A sweet 6-lb Cavapooschon. He’s adorable and enjoys being around the family! Occasional help with feeding, walking, grooming, and letting him out will be appreciated.

The Ideal Candidate:
This family is seeking a professional and experienced Nanny & Household Manager who enjoys family meal planning, prep, and cooking, and is proactive, fun, and can bring both warmth and structure to their home. You’ll need to be a strong communicator, excellent at calendar management, naturally organized, and someone who enjoys engaging kids while also managing the behind-the-scenes needs of a home. Experience with neurodivergent children (ADHD, 2e, giftedness) is highly preferred. The ability to set boundaries with love and consistency, while supporting the emotional needs of both kids, is essential. You should also be well-versed in keeping in touch with the children to make sure they are completing assignments and everything is going well with their schooling each day.

Schedule & Compensation:

    • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Split Schedule Option: They would love a nanny who would be open to a split shift.
  • 7:00am until 10:00am and return 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Or even just two mornings a week. Open to discussing what works best for their next nanny.
  • Flexibility: Occasional early morning starts at 7:00 AM will be requested
  • Hours: Guaranteed 30 hours per week; opportunity for additional hours during summer and school breaks
  • Hourly Rate: $28 – $35 per hour DOE
  • Benefits: Paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement
