This warm and well-supported Phoenix-based family is looking for a reliable, engaging, and proactive part-time nanny to join their weekend care team and provide consistent, loving care for their two active children, with a third baby on the way in January 2026. This role is perfect for a confident and upbeat nanny who thrives on planning enriching activities and supporting families with enthusiasm and professionalism.

About the Children

  • Boy (age 4): Loves building, exploring, and imaginative play. Sweet, energetic, and full of ideas!
  • Girl (age 2): Curious, cuddly, and playful. She thrives with a calm, responsive caregiver.
  • Baby #3 (Due Jan 2026): Experience and comfort caring for infants is required.

The family values teamwork, and their ideal weekend nanny will collaborate seamlessly with their two-weekday nannies and help ensure the children’s care remains consistent and joyful. The weekend nanny will work as part of a well-supported caregiving team.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $30-$35 per hour DOE – Infant experience required
  • Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM – 16 hours
  • Thursdays: 5:00 PM–9:00 PM – 4 hours (date night if nanny is available and other team members aren’t covering this shift)
  • Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid time off, paid holidays (if falling on a scheduled workday)
  • Occasional slight variations in weekend hours may occur with notice. The family will communicate schedule changes in advance.
  • Some overnights and travel may be required for this role

Childcare & Household Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, developmentally appropriate play and activities
  • Provide loving care with attention to emotional and physical needs
  • Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
  • Maintain a tidy play environment and clean up after activities
  • Support child-related laundry and dishes 
  • Run occasional errands or pitch in with family household tasks as needed
  • Assist with transitions and maintain routines in coordination with the weekday team
  • Must be comfortable with a sweet Goldendoodle in the home

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Caring, warm, and reliable, with a commitment to showing up on time 
  • Energetic and creative, with a talent for planning weekend fun – using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum would be very helpful
  • Team-oriented and able to communicate clearly with other nannies and the parents
  • Educated in early childhood development or familiar with developmental milestones
  • Comfortable with occasional light household tasks as part of a supportive team environment
  • Flexible, proactive, and willing to help where needed

Requirements

  • Must have up-to-date TDAP and Measles vaccinations
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Clean driving record and very safe driver required. A family car is provided to take children on outings. 
  • Dog friendly – must be comfortable with the family’s Goldendoodle
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Will be paid on payroll (W2)
