The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to be supporting this incredible returning family as they prepare to welcome their third child in January 2026! This loving and organized household is seeking a warm, experienced, and highly dedicated Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight care and support for their newborn for the first 16 weeks of life.
This position is ideal for a career NCS who thrives during the night shift, respects family preferences and offers hands-on, high-level newborn care while contributing to a peaceful, healthy household.
About the Family
This is a respectful, communicative, and easygoing family who has previously worked with an amazing NCS. Their two older children, (4) and (2), are in school during the day and have a trusted daytime nanny, with additional support from weekend caregivers. The family is preparing to move into a larger home near E Camelback Rd and N Arcadia Dr, where the NCS will have a dedicated guest room and access to all the tools needed to care for their new little one.
Schedule: 7 nights per week, 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (63 hours/week)
Compensation: $35–$45/hour DOE
Vaccines Required: TDAP and Measles
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care for a newborn from 9:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Bring the baby to Mom for nighttime feedings (breastfeeding support)
- Log feeding, diapering, and sleep sessions
- Wash bottles, pump parts, and restock the nursery each night
- Support baby’s sleep hygiene – family does use the Snoo
- Perform light household tasks, baby laundry, and light meal prep if time allows

The Ideal Candidate
- Has extensive experience as a Newborn Care Specialist
- Knowledgeable about newborn development, feeding, and sleep routines
- Warm, kind, and respectful of the family’s parenting style
- Calm, patient, and confident during overnight care
- Maintains a healthy lifestyle and models wellness
- Comfortable with a consistent 7-night schedule for the duration of the contract
- Willing to assist with light tasks while baby sleeps—meal prep, baby laundry, cleaning nursery, etc.
- Professional, trustworthy, and discreet

Requirements
- Certificate/Trained NCS REQUIRED
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Current on TDAP and Measles vaccinations
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Ability to commit to 16 weeks, 7 nights/week
- Excellent references, preferably with similar overnight experience
- Comfortable working alongside other nannies and household staff
