Their dynamic, fun household is looking for a nanny who can help keep their energetic 4-year-old daughter engaged, active, and learning through play. Both parents work from home and need a trusted partner to keep their daughter busy during the day with fun, enriching activities and thoughtful structure.
About the Child:
Their daughter is almost 4 years old and full of energy and personality! She is a fun, physical, and curious child who enjoys:
- Running, climbing, gymnastics, and being outdoors
- Arts and crafts
- Science, experiments, and learning new things
- Independent play and exploration
She has previously had a tongue and lip tie and benefits from routines and supportive eating habits. She thrives with a nanny who can create structure, support healthy habits (especially around meals), and design creative and stimulating activities to keep her focused and engaged. She loves going places and doing new things — the family has memberships to local attractions and would love a nanny who’s excited to get out and explore with her.
The Ideal Candidate:
The perfect nanny for this family is laid back but firm, knows how to have fun while setting respectful boundaries, and comes ready each day with a plan to keep their daughter active and engaged. You should be a strong communicator, independent, and not require a lot of direction — the family prefers someone who can jump in and manage the day with confidence and creativity. Spanish-speaking or bilingual nannies are highly encouraged to apply. A strong background in early childhood education, Montessori, or STEM activities is a plus!
You Should Be:

- An experienced nanny who is comfortable being the sole caregiver during the day

Schedule & Compensation:
- Summer Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (potential for overtime)
- Fall Schedule (Starting mid-August): Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Hourly Rate: $28 – $31 per hour DOE
- Guaranteed Hours – 40 hours per week
- Benefits: Paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time
- Additional: Occasional overnights or travel may be needed

Childcare Responsibilities:
- Creating and planning daily educational and stimulating activities
- Engaging in age-appropriate play, crafts, and experiments
- Taking her on outings (gymnastics, memberships, park trips, etc.)
- Driving to and from local activities (family car provided)
- Helping with meal times and encouraging healthy eating habits
- Swimming supervision and play in the family pool
- Providing a nurturing, structured, and fun environment
- Supporting social and emotional development
- Providing daily text/photo updates for the parents
Household Responsibilities:
- Child’s laundry and linens
- Light tidying and maintaining a clean, organized play space
- Loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Running errands and grocery shopping as needed
- Light pet care (letting the dog out, keeping the cat inside)
- Organizational projects
- General upkeep to ensure the home stays tidy and functional
