Overview:
This warm and lively family is seeking a temporary part-time nanny to join their household for the next 3 to 6 months as they prepare to welcome their fifth child in December. With three energetic boys ages 3.5, 2.5, and 1.5 years old, and a 15-year-old daughter who is self-sufficient and in school full time, this home is full of fun and activity. Mom is currently pregnant and will be home during the day, and the nanny will work alongside her to support the children and assist with light household tasks.

The ideal candidate for this role is experienced with multiple children, has a fun, active, and energetic personality, and is proactive and helpful. You should feel confident managing young children with varying needs, creating fun activities in and around the home, and being a team player who easily integrates into a family setting. The parents value kindness, respect, and healthy living, and hope to find a nanny who brings joy and calm to their busy home.

There are no pets in the household, and no driving or travel is required for this role.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Schedule: Thursday and Friday, 12:00pm – 6:00pm
• Hours: Guaranteed 12 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: $32 – $35 per hour DOE
• Benefits: Paid Sick Time, Paid Holidays
• Additional: No overnights or travel required

Responsibilities:

Childcare Responsibilities:

• Providing attentive, nurturing care for three young boys
• Creating and leading fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities at home
• Preparing and serving healthy snacks and meals
• Supporting developmental milestones through play and structured activities
• Going on walks and getting the kids active outdoors
• Supervising play and ensuring safety at all times
• Keeping children’s spaces neat and tidy
• Maintaining a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to care

Household Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after the children throughout the day
• Assisting with the children’s laundry
• Helping keep the home tidy and organized
• Offering support to Mom as needed during the day
• Being proactive and helpful with any light household tasks

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional childcare experience, including caring for multiple children at once
• Strong experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Highly reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
• Ability to create fun, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Respectful of a family’s routines and preferences
• Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mom
• No travel or driving required
• Positive, active, and excited to bring joy to the children’s day
