Family Summary:

Nannies, what an amazing family we have here for you!  This family has the sweetest baby girl who was born in November! She is just now beginning to really show her sweet personality and loves to see the world around her. This family is currently seeking to hire a part-time nanny for their precious daughter. They are seeking a candidate who is experienced and has recently worked with infants. You should be very loving, kind, proactive, and communicative and understand that their main goal is to hire a nanny who will be active and engaging with their daughter each day while also making sure she is being loved. Dad works outside of the home while Mom is a night shift RN and will be home sleeping while their new nanny cares for their daughter. Their ideal nanny is someone highly experienced, professional but light-hearted, someone who can have fun and be very creative, can think ahead and anticipate needs, and is a self-starter. You should be safety-minded, and have experience with babies this age. They want to hire someone who is able to help them with gentle advice. They really want their baby girl to feel loved, and be cared for by a nanny who is very invested and genuinely cares.  The family enjoys open communication and would love for their nanny to be a great communicator as well. 

This position is offering $25.00 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid sick time, paid holidays

The schedule for this position will be: (20 hours per week) 

• Flexible schedule – schedule to be given 6 or more weeks in advance but would consistently include
• Two 8-hour weekdays (6am – 2pm) and one 4-hour weekday 
• Additional hours as mutually agreed upon

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:   

• All comprehensive infant care, feeding, changing
• Helping to maintain a sleep schedule and routine 
• Logging day’s activities 
• Engaging, playing, reading, planning activities, walks 
• Helping baby meet and exceed all developmental milestones
• Educational age-appropriate activities

 

Household-Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Kitchen, cleaning the high chair, floor, counters
• Washing bottles, dishes etc. 
• Baby laundry, linens
• Load and unload the dishwasher, baby dishes/bottles sanitizing
• Changing crib/changing/diaper pail 
• Organizational projects if needed

• No cell phone or electronic use around baby 

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: This family does require their nanny to have the Covid Vaccine and be up to date on flu vaccine and tdap 
• Length of Commitment: 1 year to start  
• Pets: The family does have one indoor dog who is very friendly and will need let in and out during the day. This position would be ideal for a nanny who enjoys dogs as he is a lover!
• This family is OPEN to a nanny who would bring her own baby (similar age) to work with her!
