The Nanny Joynt is so happy to share with you this wonderful new short term, part time position with an amazing family!  Their oldest son is 14 months old and is a total boy. He loves being active and doing fun new things. He also loves being outside, swimming, and he is about as sweet as they come. Overall just a very happy go lucky little boy who loves to be around people. Their new sweet baby boy is due mid March! Nannies, this family is seeking a wonderful new nanny who is very reliable, consistent, and wants to be a part of their family while also maintaining professional boundaries. You will be experienced with caring for two young children at the same time, and be high energy, active, and creative. This family prefers that their children not be exposed to screens and want their nanny to be skilled at managing play and creating activities. Ideally they are seeking a career nanny who values her place in their home and is always thinking one step ahead, while being intuitive, and taking initiative. You should enjoy being FUN, and very engaging when you are with the boys! You will also be organized, responsible, self-driven, a team player and happy to jump in and help out where needed. Mom will be in and out during the day and would love to find a nanny who enjoys working with hands-on parents. Dad is an athlete and will be in and out as well.  Privacy is important to this family so a nanny who understands this is ideal. They want their nanny to feel comfortable taking care of the children and enjoy being with their family. You should also have recent infant care experience and up to date on all infant related education. 

This position is offering $28 to $30 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid holidays and paid sick time. 

The schedule for this position will be:

• Ideally – Monday through Friday from 7:00am until 1:00pm
• 30 hours guaranteed each week
• Nanny should also be flexible for date nights and overnights if needed

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

• Full comprehensive care of the children –  meals, snacks, cleaning up
• Maintaining a healthy sleep and nap schedule
• Driving to and from activities as needed
• Making sure children are meeting all developmental milestones
• Coming up with and planning things to do with the boys during the day
• Keeping play areas organized and cleaned up at the end of the day 
• Educational activities, crafts, sports, play, super engaging
• Outings and activities 
• Maintaining the children’s areas and ensuring all items are stocked and organized

 

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and children

• Loading and unloading the dishwasher, dishes
• Taking out the trash/recycling as needed
• Keeping home tidy and organized, organizational projects  
• Healthy meals and snacks for the boys
• Running errands if needed, grocery store, post office, etc. 
• General tidying up, keeping children’s area clean 
• Helping mom out with other tasks as needed

• Swimming, a nanny who enjoys being the pool with the children

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: Does not require the Covid Vaccine
• Length of Commitment: Short term, position set to end mid April
• Occasional overnights and travel could be needed, but not required
• Pets: German Shepherd he is 9 years old, very large, mellow, easy going, great with the kids. Some pet care, letting him in and out, feeding and giving him water if needed.
