Family Summary:
We are so happy to be working with this wonderful laid back and kind family! They are seeking part time care for their 10-month-old daughter who is a very happy baby. She recently started crawling and loves to stand. She also enjoys music class, gym class, and swimming. This family is seeking a candidate who really loves babies, is very engaging, efficient, intelligent, a go-getter, and intuitive. Their new nanny will ideally have a good attitude and a positive vibe. You should be experienced and knowledgeable about developmental milestones and create fun engaging things for her to do each day. A nanny who speaks Spanish is a huge plus, however, not required for this position. This family prefers that their nanny not use scented products in their home (perfume, hair products, lotions etc.) Their nanny should be organized, detailed and really enjoy spending time with their little one. Mom works from their home office and will sometimes be in and out during your workday. You should be reliable, responsible, and willing to help out as needed. A strong communicator would be ideal as both parents enjoy being able to communicate well with their nanny. This family is so loving and sweet and can’t wait to meet their new nanny!
This position is offering $22 per hour with guaranteed hours, sick time, paid holidays, and paid vacation.
The ideal schedule for this position will be: (they have some flexibility for the right nanny)
- Tuesday 10:00am until 3:00pm (required hours)
- Wednesday 10:00am – 3:00pm (required hours)
- Thursday 1:00pm until 6:00/7:00pm
- Friday 8:00am until 12:00 or a date night ideally Monday or Sunday night but date nights are very flexible
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare Related Responsibilities:
- All comprehensive infant care, feeding, changing
- Helping to maintain schedule and routine
- Engaging, playing, reading, planning activities, walks
- Helping baby meet and exceed all developmental milestones
- Educational age-appropriate activities
- Washing bottles, dishes, emptying diaper pail, etc.
- Baby laundry, linens
- Organizational projects
Household/Assistant Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and child
- Kitchen clean up, cleaning high chair, floor, counters etc
- Load and unload the dishwasher
- Baby dishes/bottles sanitizing
- Changing crib/changing table/diaper pail
- Organizational projects, stocking and ordering items as needed
- Errands, grocery store, ordering items online
- 2 small dogs will need let out and walked
- Help with the family laundry

Considerations:
- COVID-19: This family is open to employing a nanny who is not vaccinated for Covid19.
- Length of Commitment: One year to start, long-term.
- Pets: 2 small Chihuahuas in the home
- Dogs will need to be let in and out, and walked occasionally. They are super easy pups.
