The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner again with this kind, respectful family seeking a part-time nanny to care for their sweet baby boy born in October 2025. This is a warm and communicative household that values reliability, honesty, and proactive care. While their 4-year-old son attends preschool full-time, your primary focus will be on their infant. Both parents work from home on occasion and are happy to collaborate and offer support when needed.

This position is perfect for a nanny who is experienced with infants and passionate about fostering development through age-appropriate activities and nurturing care. Their ideal candidate is organized, joyful, flexible, and confident with proactive planning. A bilingual nanny is a plus (but not required), and open, respectful communication is essential.

Position Details:
Schedule: Variable each month, known quarterly (guaranteed 80 hours/month).

  • Week 1: 3/2 and 3/5 8am-5pm; 3/6 8am-12pm
  • Week 2: 3/11 12pm-5pm 
  • Week 3: 3/16 and 3/17 8am-4pm    
  • Week 4: 3/25 10am-2pm; 3/26 8am-5pm; 3/27 8am-1pm

Flexibility is key — the schedule will change month to month, but is known in advance.

Most months will have 1 (max 2) full weeks that you will work Monday through Friday. The Friday would typically be a half day.

Guaranteed Hours: 80/month (additional hours paid hourly; overtime paid after 40 hrs/week)

Weekend and/or evening flexibility would be appreciated for date nights, etc. 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $30/hour
  • Guaranteed Hours: 80 hours per month
  • Paid Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Paid Vacation
  • Monthly Healthcare Stipend

Childcare Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of infant care: feeding, diapering, naps, soothing
  • Daily tracking/log of care and routines
  • Creating a warm and calm environment that supports milestones
  • Walks, outdoor play, and safe outings (weather permitting)
  • Meaningful play, singing, reading, tummy time, and early development support
  • Maintaining stocked and tidy baby areas

Household Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning up after self and baby
  • Baby laundry and linens
  • Meal prep for the family and baby food 
  • Cleaning bottles, toys, dishes, and highchair
  • Dishwasher loading/unloading
  • Trash take-out as needed
  • Organizational projects related to the baby
