The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with this active and healthy family! They are a warm, respectful, and easygoing family, seeking a part-time, short term nanny to support their energetic 1-year-old daughter during the next several months. This short-term role is perfect for a nanny who thrives in an active, healthy, and low-screen household. They would love a nanny who really enjoys creating connections with their child through developmental play and being creative.
About the Family:
- Child: A Little girl who is 1 year old. She is a happy, bright, and curious child who loves to be on the move, explore, laugh, and play. She is so much fun and follows a consistent nap/eating schedule.
- Parents: Mom is so kind and is newly pregnant with their second child. She will be in and out during the hours you are in the home. Dad has a busy and varied schedule and will also be in and out during the day.
- Pets: One sweet and cuddly Golden Retriever named Harley. Nanny may occasionally let her out or include her on walks. You should be pet-friendly for this role.
Position Details: Schedule Options:

- Option 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00am until 2:00pm (18 hrs/week)
- Option 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm (20 hrs/week)
- Flexibility for evening/weekend babysitting is a huge plus
Travel: Family travels to CA in April, but prefers someone open to the idea for some travel if needed, but not required.
Overnights: Possibly, if the nanny is open to this, again, not required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $30 to $32 DOE
- Guaranteed Hours Weekly
- W2 Position
- Paid Sick Time per AZ Law
- Paid Holidays if falling on a scheduled workday
Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties, but not limited to:
- Providing loving, attentive care to their daughter
- Following her routine: bottles, meals, and naps
- Supporting developmental play, reading, outdoor walks, and no-screen activities
- Keeping her space tidy and organized
- Encouraging exploration and early learning using Nanny Joynt curriculum
Household Support, but not limited to:
- Tidying the house, dishes, and wiping counters, keeping things organized
- Child laundry and food prep
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Helping where needed during nap times
- Help with dog (letting out, optional walks)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proactive, kind, and respectful
- Active and experienced with toddlers
- Values communication and partnership with parents
- Speaks Spanish (bonus, not required)
- Comfortable working with mom and dad in and out of the home
- Comfortable with dogs
