The Nanny Joynt is delighted to partner with this wonderful family in Gilbert, Arizona, to help them find a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to provide loving care for their infant son, starting in January 2026. The ideal candidate will be confident with infants, patient, and comfortable supporting a first-time mom who works from home. This short-term role offers consistency, structure, and a wonderful opportunity to support a family as they navigate their baby’s early milestones.
About the Family
Children:
- Sweet baby boy (born August 2025) – He’s alert and curious! He’ll be about 5 months old when care begins.
Parents:
- Mom and Dad are first-time parents who value calm, consistent, and nurturing support. Mom works from home and will be present in the home office during the day. Mom does occasionally travel for work, so there will be extended hours to align with Dad’s work schedule.
Pets:
- Two large, friendly rescue dogs (Pit Bull Mixes). The nanny should be comfortable with large dogs and able to assist with letting them in and out as needed.
Position Details
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30am until 2:30pm (30 hours per week guaranteed)
- There may be 1 week per month with additional hours (communicated well in advance) when mom travels or schedules shift.
Compensation:
- $28-$30 hour DOE
- Guaranteed Hours, W2 Position, Paid Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Paid Vacation to be accrued if this position extends beyond May 2026. Family may be on a week-long vacation in March 2026 and will pay your guaranteed hours for that week off.
Term:
- January 12th through May 1st, 2026, with the possibility of a short extension based on family needs.
Responsibilities
Childcare Duties:
- Loving, attentive care for their baby throughout the day
- Supporting developmental milestones and tummy time
- Assisting with feeding routines (bottle prep, sterilizing pump parts, and bottles)
- Maintaining nap and play schedules with flexibility for the baby’s needs
- Reading, singing, and providing engaging interaction
- Keeping nursery and baby items clean, organized, and stocked
- Baby laundry, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- The family lives in a great community with walking paths, so getting the baby out of the house for walks daily is ideal
Household Support:
- Light household tidying related to baby care
- Meal or snack prep for mom as needed
- Keeping the main living and kitchen areas tidy during the day
- Helping maintain an organized, calm, and positive environment
- Some pet care if needed, letting dogs in and out, etc.
