The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a thoughtful, warm first-time family in Central Phoenix seeking a part-time, experienced nanny to care for their sweet baby girl beginning in December or January. This family is deeply committed to building a respectful, trusting relationship with their nanny and hopes to find someone who will grow with their family for years to come.
About the Family:
- Child: One baby girl who will be about 5 months old at the start of care
- Parents: First-time parents who are loving, communicative, and highly respectful. Mom is currently taking time off to be home and plans to return to work part-time within the next year. Mom does have a lavender allergy and prefers candidates who use products with low or no scent. Dad primarily works outside of the home. Both parents value open communication, mutual respect, and building a meaningful connection with their caregiver.
- Pets: One small and friendly family dog — pet-friendly nanny required
- Home Environment: Calm, organized, and family-focused. The family enjoys time together but values the support of a trusted nanny to create space for balance.
Position Details:
- Schedule:
- 3 full days per week (flexible on days and hours) 8am-4pm – 9am-5pm
- Preferred structure is 8–9 hours/day to total 25 guaranteed hours/week
- Flexibility to adjust days based on the nanny’s availability
- Potential to increase hours in the future as family needs evolve
- Term: Long-Term. The family is seeking a lasting connection and hopes to retain the nanny as their child grows and as work schedules shift.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $28–$35/hour DOE
- W2 Position with Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Time, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays
Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:
- Loving, attentive care of their baby girl
- Bottles, diapering, naps, tracking feed/sleep patterns
- Engaging, age-appropriate play and developmental activities
- Supporting baby’s milestones with intention and joy
- Using the weekly curriculum provided by The Nanny Joynt as desired
- Light tidying and organizing of the child’s spaces during nap time
- Baby laundry
- Making healthy snacks and meals for the baby when the time comes
Household Support:
- Family meal prep, light cooking
- Light pet care if needed
- Clear communication around boundaries and expectations will be prioritized
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced with infants and recent verifiable infant care references
- Proactive, respectful, and collaborative
- Open communicator who values being part of a team
- Warm, playful, and grounded with a strong understanding of early development
- Pet-friendly and open to additional tasks as trust grows
- Someone who notices and steps in where help is needed but respects family boundaries
- Parents prefer a candidate with professional nanny experience
