Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is excited to share this wonderful part-time household assistant/cook position! This role is ideal for someone very reliable, loves to cook healthy meals, and takes pride in keeping a home organized and tidy. The family needs a self-starter who can assist with light cooking, light housekeeping, and running an organized household. This position involves working in a 5000 sq. ft. home, managing Instacart orders, some meal prep, and general household tasks. There are children in the home, so you should be comfortable making child-friendly meals and snacks. The ideal candidate is professional, discreet, tech-savvy, and enjoys maintaining a clean, organized environment. Reliability and being on time every day are imperative for this position. You will be working closely with their Household Manager for training and scheduling. 

You will be joining a friendly, respectful, and considerate family who works from home and appreciates proactive, detail-oriented help. This family offers a supportive and positive work environment with opportunities for long-term employment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30-$35 per hour DOE
• Paid Sick Days, Holidays
• Guaranteed Hours

Schedule:

• Monday and Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Can be flexible with the hours, but not the days of the week
• May be able to offer more hours down the road
• Specific cooking and household duties vary by day:
  • Monday and Friday: Some meal prep & cleaning up, Light cleaning, laundry, bathroom maintenance, other tasks as needed

Responsibilities:

Daily:

• Prep healthy meals for the family (breakfast, lunch, and occasional dinner prep)
• Mop kitchen, living areas, and lab; vacuum living room rug
• Stock and clean bathrooms, take out trash
• Empty and load the dishwasher
• Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and stocked
• Assist with any home or business tasks
• Keep a list of household needs and groceries

Weekly:

• Complete daily tasks as needed
• Help with laundry and linens, and make beds if needed
• Receive packages, organize the pantry, and donate unused items

Considerations:

• Pets: No pets in the home
