Almost 5-Year-Old Boy:

• Incredibly energetic and active
• Loves sports, running, jumping, climbing
• Outgoing and assertive, needs guidance and reassurance
• Benefits from a firm yet kind nanny who can set boundaries and follow through
• Enjoys reading, learning, and being kept busy with stimulating activities
• Needs structure and daily routines to thrive 

3-Year-Old Boy:

• Sweet, kind, and laid back
• Also very active—loves running, sports, and outdoor play
• A true people pleaser who responds well to positive reinforcement
• Very easy to get along with, but enjoys engaging and stimulating activities
• Both boys desire warmth, kindness, and understanding from their caregiver 

These boys are going through a significant life transition with both parents currently out of the picture. Their loving grandmother has stepped in and is doing an incredible job providing for them, and now she’s seeking a strong, supportive nanny to join her in giving them the stability and love they need.

The Ideal Nanny:
The perfect nanny for this family is fun, active, and truly enjoys being hands-on with children. You should have strong behavior management skills and know how to lovingly implement boundaries, redirection, and structure. A firm but warm caregiver who can maintain a consistent daily routine will be best suited for this position. You must also be comfortable being flexible, dependable, and emotionally supportive during this challenging time for the boys.

You Should Be:

• Energetic, playful, and confident in handling active children
• Skilled in discipline and structure, with a heart for understanding children in transition
• A clear communicator who values open, daily communication with the grandmother
• Prepared to help with both childcare and light household tasks
• Experienced with creating educational and fun daily plans
• Safe and reliable with your own reliable vehicle for transporting the children 

Schedule & Compensation:

• Schedule: 
  • Saturdays and Sundays: 6 to 8 hours per day (start/end times flexible) 
  • 2–3 weekday evenings: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Flexible on days 
• Guaranteed: 25 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: $30 – $32 per hour DOE
• Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays
• Additional: Mileage reimbursement for the use of your own vehicle to transport the boys
• Occasional overnights may be requested with advance notice 

Childcare Responsibilities:

• Picking the boys up from school on the week day evenings you are working
• Planning and executing fun, educational activities for both boys
• Taking the boys to the park, zoo, sports, and other enriching outings
• Creating and maintaining a structured daily routine
• Helping the boys with emotional regulation through redirection and guidance
• Reading books, engaging in learning games, and supporting developmental milestones
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the boys
• Assisting with bath and bedtime routines when working evening shifts
• Providing daily communication and photo/text updates to the grandmother 

Household Responsibilities:

• Children’s laundry and organizing their clothes
• Tidying up play areas and common spaces used by the children
• Loading/unloading dishwasher
• Helping prepare meals and snacks for the boys
• General tidying and support to keep the house running smoothly
• There are NO PETS in this household
