Are you an experienced, patient, and nurturing Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) who is passionate about supporting first-time parents? This family is seeking a calm, professional, and health-conscious NCS to guide them through the early weeks of their newborn son’s life. If you have a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a caring demeanor, this is an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the lives of this growing family.

Position Details:

  • Hourly Rate: $35–$45/hour DOE
  • Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with flexibility to taper off hours as their baby adjusts to a new schedule.
  • Arrangements: NCS will have a private guest room with a comfortable bed and private bathroom.

Additional Travel Requirement:
This family would like their NCS to join them in California, where their son will be born, to provide support for a few days before returning with them to Arizona. All travel expenses will be covered.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Infant Care:
    • Overnight feeding and soothing.
    • Logging diaper changes, feedings, and other relevant details for parental review.
    • Assisting in establishing healthy sleep routines and schedules for the baby.
    • Proactively offering advice and suggestions to support the baby’s care and development.
  • Household Support:
    • Keeping the nursery clean, organized, and stocked.
    • Sterilizing bottles and ensuring feeding supplies are ready for use.
    • Baby-related laundry, time permitting.
    • Maintaining a tidy and sanitary environment for the baby.

    • A highly experienced and professional NCS with a track record of success in newborn care.
    • Someone tidy, clean, and health-conscious, with a calm and patient personality.
    • A supportive, non-dictatorial caregiver who offers guidance with kindness and respect.
    • An individual with excellent communication skills who is open and approachable.
    • A proactive and intuitive NCS who identifies and addresses needs.
  • TDAP Vaccine is required to be up to date
