Are you an experienced, patient, and nurturing Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) or night nanny who is passionate about supporting first-time parents? This family is seeking a calm, professional, and health-conscious candidate to help them through the next 4 to 8 weeks. Their son was born February 2025.  If you have a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a caring demeanor, this is an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the lives of this amazing family!  They have been working with a wonderful NCS over the past several weeks and would ideally love to find someone who can step in and support them during this transition. 

Position Details:

• Hourly Rate: $35–$45/hour DOE
• Ideal Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• They are flexible with start and end times. Please let me know your availability when applying. 
• Other schedule options: 8:00pm until 1:00am/9:00pm until 3:00-5:00am
• Arrangements: NCS will have a private guest room with a comfortable bed and a private bathroom.

Responsibilities Include:

• Infant Care:
  • Overnight feeding and soothing.
  • Logging diaper changes, feedings, and other relevant details for parental review.
  • Maintaining healthy sleep routines and schedules for the baby.
  • Proactively offering advice and suggestions to support the baby’s care and development.
• Household Support:
  • Keeping the nursery clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Sterilizing bottles and ensuring feeding supplies are ready for use.
  • Baby-related laundry, time permitting.
  • Maintaining a tidy and sanitary environment for the baby.
  • Helping around the house at night if time permits – keeping things organized and tidy

• Someone tidy, clean, and health-conscious, with a calm and patient personality.
• A supportive, non-dictatorial caregiver who offers guidance with kindness and respect.
• An individual with excellent communication skills who is open and approachable.
• A proactive and intuitive NCS/Nanny who identifies and addresses needs with the baby and around the home

• TDAP Vaccine is required to be up to date
