Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with this incredibly loving and kind family seeking a reliable, experienced, safety conscious and driven newborn care specialist to help with their new arrival in November.  Their sweet baby girl is due November 11, 2022 and the family would love their NCS to join them about 3 weeks after she comes home, however, they do have some flexibility if needed. They would love to find a wonderful NCS who is experienced in caring for newborns, someone who will be responsive and attentive to their baby during the night and most importantly provide a safe and loving environment. Their ideal NCS will love to care for their infant and genuinely enjoy spending time with her. Mom and Dad are both very easy to get along with, kind, and enjoy open communication. Their NCS will have a comfortable space in the nursery with the baby during the night. Family does have 2 older children who will be sleeping while you are in the home. I know this family will be a joy to work with. They are so appreciative of the help their NCS will give to them and they are very excited to start the interview process. 


This position is offering $30 per hour 

The schedule for this position will be:

  • Ideally – 4 nights per week 10:00pm until 6:00am
  • Contract will be for 6 to 8 weeks

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:

  • Feeding, diapering, facilitating a healthy sleep schedule. 
  • Helping their baby into a great sleep routine
  • Keeping a nightly log
  • Maintaining the nursery areas and ensuring baby items are stocked and organized
  • Washing bottles, sanitizing items used for baby

Household Related Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning up after self and child
  • Taking out the trash/diapers if needed
  • Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed
  • Organizational tasks
  • Sterilization of baby items, nipples, bottles, etc.

  • Experienced with infants, NCS training and certificate required
  • Cheerful, calm, nurturing, flexible, reliable and attentive

  • No cell phone usage while caring for baby
  • On time, prompt, reliable
  • Honesty and open communication


  • COVID-19: This family is NOT requiring the Covid Vaccine


  • Length of commitment – 6 to 8 weeks
  • No pets in the house
