Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is so happy to be partnering with this wonderful returning family to help them find an experienced full-time nanny! Their current nanny is also a wonderful Nanny Joynt Nanny and has been with their family long-term, she will be transitioning into a personal assistant role and will be around to help show you the ropes. This family is seeking someone who is very proactive, and intuitive and can help them manage their daily lives around their home! Their oldest daughter is 4.5 and attends Pre-K. She is fun, and active and enjoys an engaging nanny who will make each new and exciting! Their new nanny should be able to set boundaries and be patient and kind when enforcing rules and structure. Their younger daughter is 2 years old, she is very sweet and also enjoys a nanny who creates fun activities for her while also making sure she is meeting her developmental milestones.  The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter, someone who works well as a team and is very self-sufficient. You should always arrive at work, and children’s events on time. The ability to keep track of a complex schedule and anticipate issues or needs is a must for this role. They need someone creative and good at ‘playing’ and having unstructured time that is enjoyable for the girls, while also being able to manage behavior kindly.  You should be a good role model, and organized, but also flexible to changing plans if needed.  They are seeking a candidate who is easygoing, personable, and a team player with a can-do attitude. You should also be warm, positive, creative, and enjoy working with children in these age groups. The family would love a nanny who speaks a second language, however, this is not required.  This family is very kind, a joy to work with, and really cares about the people in their lives, they want their new nanny to feel welcomed and happy!  They would love to find an active, reliable, and professional nanny who has experience in this role. You should also have professional boundaries and always use discretion and maintain confidentiality and privacy regarding the family. 

This position is offering $30-$35 DOE per hour with guaranteed hours, vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, a monthly phone stipend, and a monthly healthcare stipend! A family car is provided during working hours. 

The schedule for this position will be:

• 45 hours per week – with paid overtime
• Monday through Friday 7:00am until 4:00pm 
• Their new nanny should be flexible to work additional hours and overnights as needed. Overnights may be required a few times a month.
• The family does their best to give notice before having you work extra hours or overnights, however, some notices may be as short as 48 hours. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

• All comprehensive care of the children
• Making healthy snacks and meals
• Creating fun and educational activities for the girls
• Helping their children meet and exceed developmental milestones  
• Singing, dancing, and engaging with them each day
• Playing, reading, and planning activities
• Driving to and from school and activities
• Teaching new things, crafts, games, etc. 
• Organizational projects where needed

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Daily tidying of the home as needed
• Load/unload the dishwasher, wash dishes as needed
• Meal planning and preparation for the girls as needed
• Making sure all areas are organized/tidy 
• General ability to see what needs to be done and complete those tasks
• Lending a hand where needed
• The family does have a house manager who takes care of the household tasks

Requirements:

• The nanny will need to be travel-ready this family travels domestically and internationally. You will need to have a current passport in hand. 

• The nanny must be a good swimmer and willing to swim with the children. 

• You should be active, enjoy riding bikes, and being outdoors.

Considerations: 

• • Pets – No pets in the home
  • Length of commitment – One year to start, ideally very long-term

• COVID-19: This family REQUIRES their nanny to be vaccinated for Covid-19. The family will also require an annual flu vaccine.
