Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is happy to share with you this new full time position with two active little boys!  Their oldest son is 4.5  years old and attends preschool each day. He is an energetic boy who is very full of life! He is adventurous and playful, and has energy for days. Their younger son is almost 3 years old and is such a sweet, easy boy. He enjoys doing everything his big brother does and loves to have fun. Both boys are active and full of energy so their new nanny must be energetic and creative each day. Nannies, this family is seeking a wonderful new nanny who is very reliable, always on time and someone who is a career nanny looking for a long term position. You should be consistent, and experienced with caring for two young children at same time, while also being high energy, fun and very playful. You should be able to work with them in order to establish boundaries and a solid connection while helping them learn about their emotions.  This family prefers that their children not be exposed to screens and want their nanny to be skilled at managing play and creating activities. They are seeking a career nanny who values her place in their home and is always thinking one step ahead, while being intuitive, and taking initiative. You should enjoy being very engaging when you are with the boys! You will also be organized, responsible, self-driven, a team player and happy to jump in and help out where needed. Mom and dad are both very busy and would appreciate a nanny who can help them raise their boys. They want their nanny to feel comfortable taking care of the children and feel like an extension of their family while also having professional boundaries.  Nannies, this family travels each summer so their nanny must be open to extensive long term travel. Their summer time in CA is for at least 8 weeks. During the travel time you should be flexible with your schedule and able to help out as needed.

This position is offering $28-$30 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid holidays and paid sick time.

The schedule for this position will be:

• Monday, through Friday from 10:00am until 6:00pm
• There may be some flexibility in the schedule for the right candidate

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

• Full comprehensive care of the children –  meals, snacks, cleaning up
• Driving to and from school each day as needed
• Coming up with and planning things to do with the boys during the day
• Keeping play areas organized and cleaned up at the end of the day 
• Being active with the boys, crafts, sports, play, super engaging
• Outings and activities  
• Helping to keep children on a schedule
• Maintaining the children’s areas and ensuring all items are stocked and organized
• Educational activities and making sure the children are meeting their developmental milestones

 

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and children

• Loading and unloading the dishwasher, dishes
• Wiping down countertops as needed
• Help with family laundry – washing, drying, folding and putting away
• Taking out the trash/recycling as needed
• Keeping home tidy and organized, organizational projects  
• Meal prep, a few times each week 
• Light housekeeping, keeping children’s area clean 
• Family has housekeeper for deep cleaning

• Extensive travel and willingness to be away from AZ for up to 8 weeks

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: This family is not requiring the Covid Vaccine
• Length of Commitment: Very long term, 2 to 3 years or more
• Travel and Overnights are required to work with this family
• Family does have pets so nanny must be pet friendly
