The Nanny Joynt is so happy to introduce you to this amazing dream family!  They are seeking a full time long term experienced nanny to join their family as soon as possible! Nannies, this family has 4 amazing children who are all homeschooled.  Their oldest child is 14 years old. She is a people pleaser, loves to feel included and is very kind, and loves to bake. Their 12.5 year old son is very active, he plays baseball and golf all things motocross as well. He is “all boy” and loves to play, swim and ride bikes. He is very sweet and pleasing as well. True gentleman, while being a busy 12.5 year old! He loves random fun facts of information and sharing it. Their almost 9.5 year old daughter loves riding horses, swimming, playing with her dolls, riding bikes, singing and performing! She is a joyful spirit always wanting to make everyone laugh and smile! She lights up the room with her fun energy! Their youngest son is 5 years old.  He is also very active, loves to play and be outdoors.  He is sweet and kind and enjoys playing with his siblings. Their new nanny should have very good experience working with siblings and young children.  All four of the children enjoy being active and engaged with their caregiver.  Their ideal candidate will be someone who is very educational, has experience with these age groups. Someone very proactive, very loving, and truly loves their career as a nanny. A background in teaching or being a part of a classroom or tutoring program would be amazing! You should be patient, intuitive, friendly, outgoing, very kind, and caring. They would love a candidate who is flexible and wants to be part of their family, someone who is a good leader who can channel energy and help the children make good decisions. If you are playful and engaging with the children in your care this could be a wonderful opportunity for you! The children are all homeschooled so you should be capable of helping them with school work and monitoring that they are completing their assignments. They do have their own tutors outside of the home so you will sometimes be driving them to those sessions. Nannies, we know this is going to be a wonderful position for an amazing career nanny who loves to be creative, fun and active with the children in their care!

This position is offering $28-$30 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid holidays, paid sick days and paid vacation! After 90 days of employment, healthcare benefits are available! 401k is offered after 1 year of employment. 

The schedule for this position will be:

• 4 days per week – 9am – 5pm
• 1 day per week 1:30pm – 9:30pm
• 40 hours per week guaranteed – family does have some flexibility with the schedule
• Family will always give notice of any extension of hours ahead of time
• Occasional weekend availability would be ideal 
• Travel and overnights will also be required

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

• Comprehensive child care – meals, cleaning up, activities
• Drop off and pickups from school, tutor and activities – family car provided
• School work assistance, monitoring, tutoring
• Being creative, planning fun activities, being outdoors, active
• Educational activities, running errands
• Keeping child related areas organized and clean
• Having children help with household chores

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and children
• Keeping areas organized and clean 
• Children’s laundry
• Kitchen – sweeping, cleaning up, counters, removing trash etc.
• Making healthy meals and snacks
• Light meal prep – Cleaning fruit, veggies, etc. 
• Loading-unloading dishwasher
• Organizational projects around the home
• Keeping children’s clothing in order and correctly sized clothing in closets and drawers
• Grocery list/shopping, running errands when needed

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: This family does NOT require the Covid vaccine.
• Length of Commitment: Very long term!  Would love their nanny to be with them for 2 to 3 years!
• Pets:  Family does have one cat who is indoor/outdoor
