Family Summary:

Nannies we are so happy to be working with an amazing return client seeking some additional care for their son who is almost 2 years old! If you are looking to add some extra hours to your schedule this will be a great position for you! This family is looking for a loving weekend nanny who is experienced, confident, and a fantastic team player.  Their new nanny should be very attentive and knowledgeable in the care of toddlers.  Ideally, you will be very easy to be around, a mix of laid back but also confident in your ability to take care of their son. These parents employ a team for their businesses and are not micro-managers. They prefer working with people who are capable and willing to ask questions when needed and work independently.  Someone who can give gentle guidance and suggestions when appropriate and works as a team with Mom. Mom and Dad will be working in their office which is in the home.  There are also other staff members who will be present in the home.  They need their nanny to be a team player and be collaborative when it comes to taking care of their son.  This family is so much fun to work with!! Their full time weekday nanny loves her job and the family. Nannies, this family is ideally looking for someone who is able to commit to their flexible schedule.

This position is offering: $30 per hour with guaranteed hours (16 per weekend), sick time, paid holidays and paid vacation.

The schedule for this position is VERY flexible and can be based upon the needs of the nanny who is the right fit for the team.

Below is the ideal schedule:

• Some weeknight evening care would be needed

• Saturday 8:00am – 4:00pm (very flexible)

• Sunday – 8:00am – 4:00pm (very flexible)

• This family understands that weekends are precious and can provide flexibility should their nanny need an occasional weekend day off.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:

• All comprehensive childcare care, feeding, changing

• Preparing meals, snacks

• Helping to maintain a sleep/nap schedule and routine

• Engaging, reading, developmental activities, etc.

• Planning activities walks, playing in their large backyard, etc.

• Helping baby meet and exceed developmental milestones

• Educational age-appropriate activities

• Washing child dishes

• Organizational projects

Household/Assistant Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child

• Kitchen, cleaning high chair, floor, counter

• Load and unload the dishwasher, child dishes

• Organizational projects as requested

• Preparing family meals if you love to cook – not required

• The family does have a housekeeper for all deep cleaning and laundry

Considerations:

• COVID-19: This family prefers a nanny who is fully vaccinated for COVID.

• Length of Commitment: One year to start. The family would love to have their nanny stay with their family long-term as their family grows.

• Pets: The family does have one INDOOR cat, no care for the cat is needed.  Their cat is very friendly and does like attention during the day.
