The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with a warm and active family currently located in Scottsdale who are seeking a loving and experienced full-time nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old son and new baby due in April. This position is ideal for a career nanny who is confident in supporting two young children and working closely with mom. We would love to find a nanny who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited about the possibility of long-term travel and possible relocation; however, this is not a requirement of the position. They are happy to hire someone who can be with their family until July 2026.

About the Family:

Children:

• One active, sweet and curious boy who is 2.5. He loves to be busy and enjoys activities!
• Baby girl due in mid April

Parents:

• Engaged, thoughtful parents who are both actively involved and seeking a teammate to support their parenting goals. Mom is an active stay-at-home parent who needs an extra set of hands, and Dad is in and out most days, but also very involved
• The family has recently relocated to Arizona from California and is currently living in Scottsdale while exploring future relocation options. They will be heading back to California in July 2026 and would love their nanny to join them for 5 months in L.A. During your time in L.A. you will likely live in and have your own private space in the home. This is TBD. 

Position Details:

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week guaranteed
• Generally 9:00am–5:00pm or 8:00am–4:00pm with flexibility
• Family will need flexibility in this role as their schedule changes frequently
• Occasional evening/weekend coverage for date nights or events is required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hour DOE
• Guaranteed Hours, W2 Position, Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays, possible healthcare stipend to be offered

Travel/Relocation:

This family will be moving back to California in July and would love their nanny to come with them for about 5 months. After the 5 months, they may relocate and would love to find a nanny open to relocation.

Overnights:
Occasional; nanny must be comfortable providing full coverage during some overnights when needed.

Responsibilities:

Childcare Duties:

• Creating a calm, fun, and stimulating environment for their 2.5-year-old and baby
• Supporting development, early learning, and sensory play
• Reading, music, taking walks, and time outdoors
• Preparing snacks and healthy meals
• Diapering/potty training, naptime routines, dressing, and age-appropriate transitions
• Keeping the children’s room and play areas tidy and organized
• Planning fun activities, driving to and from locations, once a relationship has been established

Household Support:

• Tidying the household as needed
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher, taking out trash, wiping countertops, and tables
• Family laundry, dishes, and helping where needed
• Errands, grocery pick-up, package drop off, etc.
• Being very proactive and intuitive to see what needs to be done each day

The Ideal Candidate:

• Calm, confident, and playful
• Experienced swimmer who enjoys taking the children swimming
• Experienced with development, safety, and routines
• Organized and reliable, with excellent communication skills
• Emotionally attuned and collaborative with parents
• Open to longer-term relocation or evolving role structure – not required, but would like to find someone open to this
• CPR/First Aid Certified; up to date on vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, MMR required)
