The Nanny Joynt is excited to partner with this amazingly warm and welcoming family, who recently relocated back to Scottsdale after several years in Dallas. They are seeking a highly experienced, organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Household Manager with light nanny responsibilities to help support their home and new chapter as first-time parents.

This role is primarily household-focused, designed for someone who truly enjoys managing a home, staying ahead of daily tasks, and creating calm, order, and flow. While newborn experience is required, hands-on childcare will be supportive and occasional, as mom will be in and out of the home and will mainly be caring for their baby.

About the Family

Child:

  • Adorable baby boy, born who was born in November 2025
    • Infant care support will be occasional and as needed, such as diaper changes, holding the baby while parents shower or attend meetings, and stepping in briefly during the day.

Parents:

  • These parents are kind, communicative, and highly appreciative of professional household support.
  • They value clear expectations, consistency, and collaboration.
  • Communication is streamlined using a shared iPhone Notes system with daily and weekly task lists.

Additional Household Notes:

  • The family has 4 small dogs (Yorkies) and 4 friendly cats. This is an animal-forward home, and a genuine love for pets is essential. You will be feeding and cleaning up after the pets daily, so pet care experience is required. 
  • The home is kept very clean and organized. Deep cleaning is handled by a professional cleaning service a few times per year, but daily “resetting” of the home is a core responsibility of this role.

Position Details

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday – 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm are some examples of the hours you will be requested to work. Flexibility is key in this role. 
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • Typical hours fall between 7:00am and 6:00pm
  • Flexibility is required, as some weeks may be lighter and others busier
  • Occasional weekends may be requested with advance notice

Travel & Overnights:

  • The family travels frequently, so overnights are required
  • The Household Manager will be responsible for house sitting and pet sitting during travel, including overnight stays when needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $35–$42/hour DOE
  • Guaranteed Hours 40 per week
  • W2 position
  • Paid Sick Time (AZ-compliant)
  • Paid Vacation and Holidays

Primary Responsibilities

Household Management (Primary Focus):

  • Daily home reset, including but not limited to:
    • Wiping counters and surfaces
    • Sweeping and mopping floors
    • Tidying rooms and maintaining order
    • Pet care
  • Family laundry management (wash, dry, fold, put away)
  • Dusting and bathroom resets
  • Cooking and dinner preparation
  • Grocery shopping and household errands
  • Managing vendors and contractors, being present for arrivals
  • Overseeing household systems and staying ahead of needs
  • Maintaining a calm, clean, and welcoming home environment
  • Running errands, can use family car if comfortable with large SUV

Pet Care:

  • Daily care for 4 dogs and 4 cats
  • Feeding, supervision, grooming, cleaning up after them, and safety during outdoor time. These are very small dogs and cannot be left alone outside for any reason. 
  • Overnight pet care when the family is traveling is required – some trips are up to 10 days at a time

Light Childcare / Newborn Support:

  • Occasional hands-on infant care as needed
  • Supporting parents during the day with brief childcare coverage
  • Changing diapers, feeding, reading to him, etc., when mom is busy
  • Maintaining infant-related organization and cleanliness
