The Nanny Joynt is honored to represent a kind, intentional Phoenix family in search of a professional, caring nanny to support them during an important transition. As Mom prepares to return to work, the family is seeking a warm, experienced infant caregiver who can provide consistent support through December. This is a home based position no outings or driving will be required. 

This short-term role is perfect for a nanny who is confident with infant care and comfortable working in a household where the mother works from home. The family is committed to finding someone they can trust to care for their son and help them navigate this new chapter of their lives.

About the Family:

Baby boy: He will be approximately 6 months old at the time of the nanny’s start date. Parents describe him as a happy baby who is adjusting well to family routines and is adored by both mom and dad.

Parents: First-time parents who are focused on ensuring their son is cared for in a nurturing and professional environment. 

Pets: Friendly, hypoallergenic cat in the house. No pet care required.

Position Details:

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm minimum guaranteed 35 hours per week

Nanny should be flexible to arrive early or stay later on occasion. You will be given notice of any schedule changes. 

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $25
W2 Position
Guaranteed hours, Paid time off, Paid Holidays

The family is seeking someone with flexibility and openness to occasional adjustments. 

Travel Required: No travel is expected during this short-term role

Responsibilities:

Childcare Duties:

  • Full infant care, including feeding, diapering, and naptime support
  • Maintaining a calm and supportive environment during mom’s transition back to work
  • Implementing age-appropriate developmental activities
  • Communicating with mom throughout the day as needed
  • Supporting early routines and helping the baby settle into a consistent daily schedule
  • Making healthy meals and snacks
  • Washing and sanitizing bottles, toys, and child-related areas

Household Support:

  • Light tidying of the house each day
  • Laundry for the child, wash, dry, fold, put away
  • Load and unload dishwasher, wipe counters, tables, etc. 
  • Keeping the house organized
  • General home support to ensure a smooth household rhythm
  • Occasional flexibility for light errands may be appreciated, but childcare is the top priority

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced and confident with infant care, especially 6–10 months
  • Comfortable working with a parent who is at home and balancing work
  • Calm, warm, and communicative
  • Professional, punctual, and respectful of boundaries
  • Flexible and adaptable to the short-term nature of the role
  • Open to possibly extending the work agreement after December
