The Nanny Joynt is thrilled to partner with this professional, loving, and busy family who relocated from Texas to Arizona. They are seeking a reliable, proactive, and intuitive weekday nanny/household assistant to provide loving care for their 1-year-old baby boy and contribute to keeping their home running smoothly. This is a home-based position with no outings required. The family values organization, kindness, and clear communication, and is looking for a long-term team member who brings strong initiative and a can-do attitude to their household.

About the Children:

• • 7-year-old girl – Bright, independent, and loves learning and playing with her siblings.
  • 6-year-old girl – Sweet, spirited, and thrives on connection and routine. 
  • 1-year-old boy – Very happy, healthy, and will be the primary focus during weekday shifts. You will be mainly caring for the 1-year-old. 

• Older children are in school full-time; however, you should be comfortable helping with all 3 children if the need arises. 

Note: The first hour of the day includes helping the older children get ready for school.
The family also employs an afternoon nanny and a housekeeper who is on-site daily. Collaboration and teamwork are highly valued.

Position Details:

• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday, 5:50 AM – 1:00 PM (guaranteed 36.25 hours per week)
  • May shift the end time to 3:00PM in January 2026
  • Occasional international and domestic travel may be needed
• Compensation:
  • $30–$32/hour DOE
  • Paid vacation, Paid sick time, Paid holidays
  • W2 Employment
• Overtime & Travel:
  • Overtime paid for extra hours
  • $100 per night when traveling or staying overnight with the family

Childcare Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, loving care for the 1-year-old, including:
  • Feedings, naps, diapering, and age-appropriate activities
• Support older children before school and during school breaks or travel
• Support routines, responsibilities, and emotional needs
• Create fun and imaginative activities using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals daily

Household Responsibilities to complete when time allows:

• Mopping floors as needed and general tidying of common areas daily
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher, helping with dishes, cleaning up after breakfast
• Ironing, folding, and putting away clothes
• Family laundry, linens, during nap time if time allows
• Maintaining an organized, neat environment alongside household staff
• Light meal preparation
• General household pitching in where needed and proactive support
• Note: The family employs a housekeeping team for deep cleaning

Flexibility & Travel:

• Travel and overnights may be requested up to 2 weeks at a time
• Schedule may occasionally shift if another caregiver is unavailable
• Vacation must be pre-approved and cannot be taken for two consecutive weeks
• Unused vacation time can be cashed out if the nanny chooses to work instead
• Overnights are paid at $100 per night
• International and domestic travel may be requested

Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
• Bilingual in Arabic or Spanish is a huge plus, but not required
