The Nanny Joynt is partnering with a thoughtful, respectful returning family looking for a true right-hand household assistant — someone who enjoys being the calm, capable force that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

About the Family

• Two children (ages 3 and 8), both in school full-time
• Busy, organized household that values structure and efficiency
• Looking for long-term support from someone they can trust deeply
• Mom works in the home and can be around frequently; you need to be comfortable with her being present. She is not a micromanager, but wants their new nanny to know this information up front. 

Most of your day will be spent supporting the home, not juggling full-time childcare, but there will be occasions where the family would love for you to step in and be able to connect with the kids as needed. Ex: School breaks, summer, etc. 

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Can be a bit flexible with the schedule
(20 hours each week)

Potential to pick up extra hours on the weekends and possible travel with the family occasionally, but not required. 

Compensation

• $30-$35/hour based on experience
• Guaranteed hours – 20 hours per week
• W2 position
• Paid sick time, holidays, and vacation 

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is centered around keeping the home running effortlessly and efficiently.

Daily household flow:

• Family laundry (including adult laundry) — fully managed start to finish
• Kitchen reset each day — dishes, surfaces, organization
• Meal prep support (a key part of the role)
• Pantry and kitchen organization
• Making kids’ lunches every day
• House management support, sourcing, and scheduling vendors

Home support:

• Light tidying and maintaining organized spaces
• Some errands on occasion – 99% of this role will be working in the home
• Anticipating needs before they’re asked

Occasional support with children:

• Helping during school breaks, holidays, or transitions
• Stepping in when parents need coverage
