This loving mother seeks an experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) for overnight support with her 7-week-old baby boy, born on January 31, 2025. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, knowledgeable in newborn sleep routines, and experienced in providing overnight infant care. She would love to have someone for up to 12 weeks with the possibility of extending if needed. This family is kind, thoughtful, and eager to find the best care so they can get some rest at night.

- Provide overnight newborn care from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Sunday – Thursday)
- Assist with feeding (pumped breastmilk via bottle), diaper changes, and soothing techniques
- Establish healthy sleep habits and ensure a smooth nighttime routine
- Maintain a night log documenting feedings, sleep patterns, and diaper changes
- Communicate any concerns or observations with the mother each morning
- Provide guidance and support for sleep training as neededSchedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 PM until 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Commitment: 12 weeks with the option to extend
- Hourly Rate: $35 – $55 per hour DOE
- Accommodations: A private guest room is available for resting when the baby sleepsRequirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of newborn care experience
- Certificate in Newborn Care (NCS), CPR, and First Aid – Required
- Must be comfortable working in a home with two cats
- Up-to-date on Tdap vaccine (COVID, flu, and MMR preferred, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of newborn sleep routines and feeding support
