Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is so happy to be partnering with this wonderful loving family seeking a part-time household manager/nanny.  Someone who is very proactive, and intuitive and can help them manage their daily lives around their home! This family has an active 4.5-year-old daughter who is so joyful to be around! She is a happy child who loves creating artwork, dancing, and using her imagination. She loves all things kitty cats and princesses and is all round really fun to be around. This family’s previous nanny was very close to their daughter so during this transition their new nanny will need to be patient and loving to help their daughter with this change. Their daughter does attend school Monday through Friday so they will need their new nanny to arrive each morning to help get her ready and off to school each day. The ideal candidate will be warm, bubbly, and kind.  Reliability is very important for this family. Both parents are busy professionals and need to make sure their nanny is on time to take over each morning. They really care about the people in their lives, and they want their household manager/nanny to feel welcome and happy working with their family! Their new nanny will be at times working alongside grandparents who are very active, involved, and loving. They would love to find an active, reliable household manager/nanny who has experience in this role.  This family does have a very loving and chill cat who is part of their family so their nanny must be comfortable with cats. This family is busy and active, but very fun and kind and only want the best care for their daughter!

This position is offering $28 – $30 DOE per hour with guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick days, and paid holidays. Mileage reimbursement if you use your own car during work hours. 

The schedule for this position will be:

• Monday through Thursday – 6:30am until 11:30am (20 Hours Per Week)
• Family would love someone who can be flexible with the schedule
• Some flexibility will be needed to come in early or stay later some days. 
• This family will also need their nanny for occasional overnights when they travel.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:

• Preparing breakfast each morning and cleaning up after
• Driving their daughter to school each day – car may be provided
• Taking her to activities on days she does not have school
• All comprehensive childcare needs
• Maintaining the child’s areas and ensuring all items are stocked and organized

Household-Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after school drop off each day
• Load/ unload the dishwasher
• Taking out the trash/recycling as needed
• Making sure all areas are organized/tidy as needed
• Organizational projects daily, pantry, closets, toys
• Family laundry, wash, dry, fold, put away
• Sweeping and vacuuming all areas
• Make beds, change linens as needed
• Ordering supplies or groceries when needed
• Meal preparation for family
• Errands, groceries, receiving packages
• Greeting contractors, scheduling maintenance if needed
• General ability to see what needs to be done and complete those tasks

Considerations: 

• Pets – 1.5-year-old Maine Coon – he’s the most chill of chill cats and is indoor only but goes on walks occasionally. 
• Overnights – Will be needed on occasion
• Length of commitment – One year to start
• COVID-19: This family does NOT require the Covid Vaccine
• Prefer candidate to have current TDAP and Flu Vaccine, but not required
