Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is so happy to partner with this wonderful loving family seeking a part-time nanny/household assistant.  Someone who is very proactive, and intuitive and can help them manage their daily lives around their home! This family has the sweetest 2.5-year-old little boy. He is active and so much fun to be around each day. He really enjoys playing outside, loves Blippi, and is very talkative. This family is seeking a nanny who is playful, engaging, active, and very creative with their son.  Reliability is very important, so someone who is always on time. Both parents are busy professionals and very involved in their son’s life. They really care about the people in their lives, and they want their nanny to feel welcome and happy working with their family!  They would love to find an active, reliable nanny who has experience in this role. They are excited to find someone who really enjoys their career as a nanny and will help them with day-to-day tasks while also making sure their son is loved and cared for. You should feel comfortable running errands, meal-prepping healthy foods, and keeping things organized. The family does have a car you can drive to run errands. Dad works in politics and their family has conservative views, so their new nanny should be comfortable with working in this environment. This position could involve some travel with the family, so if you are seeking a fantastic position with a busy and active family this could be a great fit for you!

This position is offering $28-$30 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid sick days, and use of the family car. 

The schedule for this position will be: 20 hours per week guaranteed

• Ideally, Monday and Wednesday 8am until 6pm or 9am to 7pm
• Can be flexible on the days of the week, but the days needs to be consistent

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks 
• Potty training, bathtime 
• Planning fun activities, educational play, and development
• Playing outside, being active 
• Reading, singing, and arts and crafts
• Making sure their son is exceeding developmental milestones
• Maintaining the child’s areas and ensuring all items are stocked and organized

Household-Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Load/unload the dishwasher
• Taking out the trash/recycling as needed
• Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed
• Family laundry, wash, dry, fold, put away
• Ordering supplies
• Meal preparation, making healthy and fun snacks
• Errands, groceries, receiving packages
• General ability to see what needs to be done and complete those tasks

Considerations: 

• Pets – No pets in the house. 
• Travel – Domestic and international
• Length of commitment – One year to start, ideally 2 to 3 years
• COVID-19: This family does NOT require the Covid Vaccine

Nannies, this is an amazing family that is so much fun! They are easygoing and will provide a comfortable work environment for you. They travel to great places and would love for their nanny to accompany them on these trips. Their previous nanny is still part of their family but she has moved on to start a family of her own. They are very excited to find a new career nanny who will work with their family long-term!
