Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is so excited to share this wonderful new long term part time position with you!  This family has a relaxed environment in their home and their children are so happy and fun.  Their oldest daughter is 5 years old, she is energetic, kind, happy, outgoing, creative, and very intelligent.  She attends school each day and loves to be busy and engaged with her caregiver. She has just started playing soccer and is also involved in horseback riding. Their son is 9 months old and is smiley, happy, energetic, determined, and loves exploring. Mom is a stay at home mom who is looking for another set of hands around the house.  Dad will also be in and out and can sometimes be working from home. They do need a nanny who will be proactive, intuitive and eager to help where needed. Being a team player is a must for this family!  Their ideal nanny will be someone who is energetic, cheerful, fun to be around, has a pleasant personality, someone who is able to work with their family as a team and is a multitasker. They would love a nanny who is experienced and can offer gentle advice and knowledge when caring for their children. You should be confident and a great role model. Someone who is a great communicator with great initiative who can follow direction well and make sure things are done and the children are happy each day. Being reliable is also very important to this family, they prefer that their nanny is able to work if their children are feeling under the weather. Nannies, this family is so wonderful and we know they are going to be a joy to work with! 

This position is offering $25 – $28 per hour DOE with guaranteed hours, paid sick time, paid holidays, and paid vacation after 6 months.

The schedule for this position will be:

• Ideally Monday through Friday 12:00pm until 5:00pm
• 2 to 3 weekend date nights per month will be needed
• Family is able to accommodate 3 long days instead of 5 short days if needed
• Family is also able to offer more or less hours depending on the nanny’s needs

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

 

• All comprehensive child care, feeding, making healthy meals, snacks etc.
• Helping with the house chores, organizing
• Driving to and from school or activities as needed
• Arts, crafts playing etc.  
• Helping children meet their developmental milestones  
• Singing, dancing and engaging with children each day
• Playing, reading, planning activities, walks, park 
• Planning educational activities, teaching new things
• Organizational projects

 

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and children
• Kitchen, cleaning high chair, floor, counter, keep stroller neat and clean
• Load and unload dishwasher
• Organizational projects, making sure house is in order at the end of each day 
• Cleaning toys/sanitizing 
• Prep meals, feed children, clean up after meals
• Keep playroom tidy, keep children’s rooms organized and neat 
• Help with family laundry
• Be a second set of hands as needed

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: This family requires a nanny who is fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and TDAP should be up to date.
• Occasional overnights & date nights will be required
• It’s preferred for their nanny to be open to traveling with the family 1-2 times per year 
• Length of Commitment: One year to start.  Would love their nanny to be with them long term!
• Pets:  Sweet indoor French Bulldog. Some pet care, letting in and out, feeding etc.
